Before buying this brand I did not know much about Brown Bear brand. The Morning Blend is one of the best I ever had. It just suits my test and preference. It has a chocolate hint and nice aroma. Not too bitter or dark and perfect for late or just plain black. My daughter makes regular morning cold frappuccino for her, my hubby likes it with a hint of cardamom and I like it during the weekend brunch, a black coffee out of these freshly ground flavourful beans with a toast. Thank you Brown Bear!

I’ve always been a medium roast person and avoided dark roasts because they often come out too bitter for my taste. Then I realised I’d never actually tried a light roast, so I picked up Brown Bear’s Breakfast Blend - and now I’m completely hooked. The flavour is smooth and lively, with a gentle citrus brightness and none of that heavy, roasted bitterness. It’s light without being weak, the kind of coffee you can happily drink all morning. I brew it in a GEEPAS 1.5L Filter Coffee Machine using paper filters, grind the beans fresh with my old De’Longhi blade grinder (short pulses for about ten seconds on and off), and use Highland Spring water - the result tastes amazing: clean, balanced, and full of character. The only small downside is that the roast isn’t totally even - a few beans are a shade darker than the rest - but it hasn’t affected the taste much. The flavour stays consistent cup after cup. This blend has completely converted me from a medium roast loyalist to a full-on light roast fan. Definitely one I’ll keep stocked.

Really fab coffee beans. It's so hard toget light roast coffee, everybody seems to only sell beans that are burnt black and make your face come to a point. These beans are fresh tasting, smell lovely, make fantastic,flaversome coffee. Love them.

The only coffee beans my family will use

Likelihood of beans getting mixed around a lot here and bags containing beans from a lot of batches. Beans I got varied from burned to a light roast. I will say a good amount was a medium roast if only on the high side, although the mix of the different beans meant that the roast was not the same throughout the package. Overall, it wasn’t terrible although the flavour was either heavily impacted or the roast dates were quite late. I likely won’t order this specific one again.

It can be really difficult to source less strong coffee beans that are not insipid and I was very pleased to find the Brown Bear Breakfast Blend Light Roast. We don't like strong coffee at any time of the day but still like the coffee to be creamy and actually taste of coffee. These beans hit the mark and are light roasted rather than drained of colour and taste. Delivery was fast and packaging excellent.

Not the freshest as it had been roasted a while ago. However the blend was to my liking and I enjoyed the coffee. If I could ensure fresh roast so that it was only a week or two old I would be back like a shot. Definitely an acidic fruity flavour that suits me fine. With a decent light roast that kept the bitterness down and had no over smoky or burnt flavour like too many coffees seem to.

I use this coffee in my bean to cup coffee machine perfect coffee for lattes and cappuccinos incredible taste not bitter tasting smooth creamy not like when you get a coffee on the go from all these well know restaurants and brands I’m a coffee expert so know a good tasting coffee an this is perfect

It’s a good coffee for this price. Better than regular Portuguese coffee

Il profilo di tostatura dei chicchi è chiaro e si presta particolarmente alla preparazione del caffé in filtro. Buona miscela per preparare il caffè a colazione.

Wenn ihn Amazon nicht doppelt so teuer gemacht hätte als vor ein paar Wochen, würde das mein neuer Frühstückskaffee werden. Sehr guter Geschmack, sehr mild und ein Genuss. jetzt ist er leider keine Alternative mehr.
