KitchenCraft Seafood Tools Set with Crab Claw Crackers and Lobster Forks, Stainless Steel, 8 Pieces

I bought this set as a gift and the recipient was delighted.I had hesitated over purchasing after reading some less than favourable reviews of the product, but I cannot concur with those views.I was delighted with the quality of product, especially considering the price.The set has already been used: the crackers were suitable for cracking lobster; the forks got into all the crevices. What more does one need?

I almost missed buying this seafood set after reading some of the very negative reviews, luckily because of the low price I decided to get them. Now I am completely mystified by such negativity; I am so pleased with both the design and quality that I have decided to get a second set for larger dinner parties.

beautifully crafteted in stainless steel these are perfect for the budding home seafood chef. Perfect for lobseters hard to reach places. The crackers are effective although a bit loose in the joint. The pics are sturdy and effective.

This is a pretty good kit for handling most kinds of crab. The 'nutcracker'-type pincers are good for hard shells, although I found the gap a little too wide for snow crab legs (which is mostly what I bought these for.) They're ideal for claws, though.The only thing missing from this kit is the serrated fork type cutters - the plastic kind you get given at Joe's Crab Shack in the US - which are more practical for cutting through steamed legs. It would have been more practical to have one of these than 6 of the smaller forks.The one thing I didn't like: The utensils imparted a strong metallic/battery taste when I mistakenly ate directly off the fork, which makes me wonder whether it's being leeched in the food its touching. Great product at an excellent price, arrived within a day. Recommended

Bought these on a whim, since we don't have lobster or crab very often. Since they were reasonably priced, I thought I'd take a chance and was pleasantly surprised. The finish is not fantastic but they are sturdy and work well which is what you want. Very satisfied.

Each time we have lobster, we get in a mess and vow to get some tools. At last we have and at a very good price. They look fine and I'm sure they'll do the trick. Arrived in very good time too.
