This book is laid out very well with goo photos, and good text instruction and chart introduction,
Just received this book yesterday. I love it! I like the way it is organized. Photos of the stitch above, steps in text below, and how it is diagramed with the symbols, or whatever you call it when a pattern just uses symbols for stitches, not text telling you what to do. You get used to both.I am learning my third stitch. This is better than YouTube. Actually, I learned a better way to do purl from this book. A YouTube video I watched before I got this book made it more difficult than it was. The YouTuber really was clunky with the hook. Book was much better.I did take it in to Staples today and had a spiral, not comb - actual spiral, spine put on it, spiralized. I had them add a clear plastic cover in the front and a solid black plastic to protect the back. I can now open it flat, and if I need the table space, I can fold the half I do not need to see, behind. Much better. It was really inexpensive to have this done.

Good guide but could be subjective issues
Huge variety of stitches, a real plus. Descriptions and diagrams of moves to make stitch are taking a while for me to get used to, but that may just be me. Best use: Find a YouTube video to see the stitch made from beginning to end.

My go-to for Tunisian crochet
I'm loving the Tunisian crochet stitch book. Even though I am a lefty, the instructions are clearly written, with good diagrams and lots of great pictures of what the stitches should look like. Have so far mastered 4 different stitches in various throws, sweaters, scarves and hats.

Best Tunisian crochet book that I've ever bought.
If you haven't ever done Tunisian crochet, it's sort-of a cross between crochet and weaving; pulling yarn on a Tunisian crochet hook or Tunisian crochet flexible cable, and later removing it on the back-stroke. You're basically working one side of your work, back and forth. I find that it looks more like knitting than crocheting, however, it isn't as soft as knitting, unless you use a larger hook. This is the best Tunisian crochet book that I've encountered. It is very well written. In the front is a pictorial directory of stitches, broken up by type of stitch. There is an About section in this book section that describes how to read and use the charts and patterns.Within the book are each stitch showing a sizable, chart, similar to knitting and crochet charts. There is a full-size photo of an actual Tunisian crochet finished swatch, along with photos of each step, and written instructions beneath each step.In the back of the book, you'll find information on yarn weight, gauge, and suggested hook sizes. Tool you need are covered, the basics of Tunisian crochet, and symbols used in the charts. This is a fine book for a beginner or novice Tunisian crochet artist. The price is well worth the beautiful creations that you'll make.Anna is an excellent teacher and it not only shows in her book, but also on her YouTube channel and website.
