Easy keysy
Worked exactly as promised and was a breeze to program. I took the new uncut blade key off and substituted my old blade key (if you do this, you will need a very small [1/16 inch pin size] punch to remove the pin that holds the key in each fob. Google can help you with how to do it.) Then I programmed the new fob. It works like a dream!

Remotes
Excellent remotes just have a locksmith cut the key and enjoy your remote. It took about 10 minutes to have locksmith do. Prices first temote and locksmith great. Half the price from dealership

Good to have
After the key part is cut you have to program them. Hardware store wanted 60 bucks to program. Google and it is so easy

Work OK
Work, but a little slow. You have to hold the button down a second or two before it opens. Programing was simple with included instructions.

Not for a 2019 Impala
For clarity of explanation of programming, I highly recommend the YouTube video by PYR automotive, “How to Program a Chevrolet Impala Smart key Remote Fob”. Couldn’t be explained any better. Still it’s easy to fail (Don’t forget to use the Fob to lock the car to finish the procedure). Allow a lot of time. Still perseverance will be rewarded.I think I tried three times before I got it right, but the first try was according to a different instructor. In all about 2.5 -3 hours for me. That was okay this time because I was hanging out in the Walmart parking lot while the wife was shopping. Actually made the waiting a little better. Before you try to program the fob you need to get it cut (copying) the cut from the other key I hope you have. Search for an “automotive locksmith”. Pretty sure it can’t be done by the box stores or kiosks. There comes a time in the procedure when all existing key fobs will no longer work. So you need to have them all close by for the programming. After my second attempt, I was in a car in the Walmart Parking lot Saturday night at 10:00, and realized I no longer had a working key for my car. A little bit of an adrenaline.Third time was the charm. Proved it when my old fob started working again. But the new one would only lock and unlock doors. It would not permit starting. Two came in the package. And I also have a 2014 impala. Which is different because it is not a push button start. Call me a glutton for punishment, I’m going to give it a try.As for the 2019, this afternoon I stopped at the dealer, provided the VIN, bought a GM fob and have confidence I will be able to program it after it’s cut. I suppose getting it cut could be considered optional. Problem is you don’t want to be locked outside your car with no power. Only time you ever need it to be cut.

Works for 2015 Chevy Malibu. Appears to be of same quality as the OEM.
These FOBs work well for a 2015 Chevy Malibu. But keep in mind the keys will need to be cut by a locksmith, and for me, that was expensive. I had both of the keys cut; the locksmith actually came to my residence and cut the keys while he was parked in my driveway. For the price, I maybe could have just gone to the dealership and gotten a new key from them. But, in any case, these have held up after a year of use, so I can't complain. And it's nice to have a pair.

Original metal key will not stay in locked position
My old remote’s buttons broke off on my 2014 Equinox. After watching YouTube videos it seemed like an easy and inexpensive task. Removed the original metal key from old fob and inserted into this new one. Programming was super easy and it worked fine. The problem is that the metal key will not lock down in the fob. The button seems to be weak but still has resistance when you push it. Kind of a bummer that you can’t fold the key back to where it stays locked down.
