Good quality, powerful, well balanced
Wow, this jigsaw cuts through wood like butter on full speed. It has power, and is far superior to any jigsaw I have previously owned.There is a good weight balance, and it is comfortable to hold.The only negative would be that It takes hitachi's own blade connector, so be aware of that if purchasing replacement or additional blades.It is a small negative though, and worth the trade off.Especially worth while if you use any of the other cordless 18v range. Slide on battery type, will take any 18v slide on hitachi battery.Managed to use it for several hours on a 4 mAh lithium battery without a charge.I own Makita and Hitachi cordless tools, Makita are seen as one of the go to brands, but I would buy the hitachi jigsaw again if I was to choose.
