16l twin bin do not fit in a 50cm cupboard
It's a really great design and affordable.Only problem is the pictures show the 6l bins. I bought the 16l bins and they require 53cm door width.Normally bins go under the sink, sink cupboards are normally 1m (2x 50cm)It only cost me £36 so I'm using the bins for other storage. But my recommendation would be to double check dimensions.

Good use of space
Easy to fit, got mine in within 10 minutes. Good quality product. You may need to consider the position of the top mounting for the post with regards to door hinges, the door hinge might need to be moved to suit. On mine, as measured from the base where the bottom post mounting is fixed, it is approx 386mm to the bottom of the top mounting, and 428mm to the top. So if there is a hinge in between these measurements it will need to be moved. As other reviewers have pointed out (complained about), the bins aren't massive. Of course they aren't, the unit is designed to fit in a cupboard underneath a kitchen sink leaving sensible room for pipework that you inevitably get with sinks. So before you go buying one of these units expecting to get something the size of a wheelie bin, go and open the cupboard under your kitchen sink, take out the junk that's in there and then you'll have a clue as to how big it might be. Also, just as a thought, use a tape measure and the dimensions provided in the description!A tip for the likes of Antony who clearly shouldn't be trusted with a screwdriver as he gave a 1 star review on 2nd January 2021 because the screws were too long and came through the front of his cupboard door; the screws that are provided are of a length to suit the most common thickness of wood used for kitchen units. Brabantia clearly don't know the exact specifications of your kitchen units, which is why in their instructions it clearly states 'Check whether the screws are suitable for the thickness of the cabinet before you attach the bin'. So it might be necessary to reduce the useable length of the screws with washers, or just use other, shorter, screws - which is what I had to do as my doors have a thinner insert panel.

Door screws too big.
Wanted to love this product, and it’s great, but not perfect. The problem is the screws for the door. Most people’s kitchen doors are not as thick, so the screws to attach the bins to the door cannot be screwed all the way in; which leads to the structure occasionally coming loose and needing to be re-screwed. If I did screw them all the way in, they would come out the other side. I have shaker style doors. How to solve the problem? A selection of different size small screws.

Solid, Clean, no mess, no rust modern bins
I had 'stainless steel' double recycling bins but they got rusty on the inside. I wanted bins that wouldn't rust and these are perfect. They are sturdy, clean, neat looking bins. Can be carried out to tranafer the bags into the main recycling bins. Love them!

These must be the best bins on the planet.
Our old slide out bins were ok but never came out the full distance, lifting the lids off were annoying and often they would drop into the bins or difficult to lift off with wet hands.Brabantia have solved these issues with their hinged bins. I bought the 2 x 16 litre bins which fit into our custom made 560 x 560mm door cabinets perfectly. Probably wouldn’t fit into standard 500mm wide cabinet.

Nice but not for under sink
I do like these bins but the mount to be used on a cupboard door does not work for an under sink cupboard which is where i was planning to put these bins for ease of use. Also it is rather bulky. I will design my own door supports so they can be hung on the door but at the moment they are just standing on the shelf inside the cupboard which should be fine

Fitted under the sink - no problem.
This is a brilliant solution for us. We had our water meter moved to the back of the cupboard to make room for some kind of system and found this product at a great price and with accurate dimensions on the website. You should check the size in centimetres - not Litres and you will not be surprised at the size.It was really easy to fit in spite of a wretched stop-tap at the front left and we could not be happier with it.

Important information regarding cupboard door size
If you are wanting to fit this behind a low line door, ie one that is 565mm tall and has a drawer fitted above it the upper bracket coincides with the upper door hinge. as a result it cannot be fitted unless you reposition the door hinge lower down (which usually means you need to have a hinge cutting drill bit). As I have fitted out other areas of the kitchen I do have one and it added about 20 minutes to fettle the door so it works fine. It is a good product and what we wanted but a shame this is not mentioned by Amazon or Brabantia unless I missed it.
