Oxford Mini Dictionary and Thesaurus

very useful

The name says it all really. A dictionary which includes the most popular synonyms with the definition. Because they are pocket sized the type is a bit small but still readable. Double check that it's the dictionary and thesaurus that you receive; initially one of mine was just the dictionary.

Handy little dictionary. Still able to clearly read the words. Fits snuggly in your bag or pocket.

My 10 year old uses it for her homework and it's ok if a little basic sometimes. Some words she's looked up aren't there and she's had to look them up online which is what I wanted to avoid so one star taken off.

Für etwas mehr als 6 € ein wirklich gutes Dictionary & Thesaurus. Ich arbeite mit dieser Version bzw. mit der Vorgängerversion von 1995 - und von 100 Worten, die ich nachschlagen möchte sind stets >90 vorhanden. Praktischer Softeinband, zwar nicht mehr so haltbar wie in der 1995er Version (da wirklich noch aus Weichkunststoff, heute aus umsäumtem Karton) aber trotzdem alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert und handlich, gerade wenn man ein englisches Buch liest und öfter mal eine Bedeutung oder ein Synonym nachschlagen möchte, ohne gleich einen "Wälzer" mit sich herumzuschleppen...
