Works in the cold.
I used this on top of the black mountains during an overnight camp (around -8°C) and it did the job perfectly. The Coleman cannisters are slightly taller and narrower than other manufacturers' although the EN417 fitting is standard and will work with any compatible stove. The Coleman 230g cannister fits perfectly inside my Lixada 750ml titanium cookpot, which is handy.

Did the job & lasted the whole festival Thursday - Monday morning and still has left over gas. Light and compact too.

Works Well In Freezing Temperatures
This has carried on burning well throughout the freezing temperatures this winter at just above sea level. It has a higher content of propane to enable it to do this, hence being more expensive, but it carried on boiling hot water for cups of tea when standard Coleman butane gas had long since failed. I haven't tried it down to -27C as the canister claims, but it was certainly -7C one day and it still worked. Will buy again for winter use with my Safari Chef 2 stove.
