Libéron Steel Wool - Ideal For Surface Preparation - Smooths Wood & Metal Surfaces - Removes Built-up Wax Polish - Grade 0 (Fine) - 250g

As I’m doing a fair bit of upcycling, this stuff is great to get into the finer detail of older, much polished wood to get off all the residue of years of Mr Sheen which has collected in nooks and crannies. Far better and more controllable than sanding particularly when you don’t want to damage anything. This is very fine wire wool, and I did initially hesitate in buying such a large amount but it’s worth it, the value is better (I did a fair bit of comparison with other brands and this came out at a good price). Plus, you never know how much you might need, or when you need it. This had been a fab addition to my arty crafty supplies and will last me ages. Very impressed.

This products dis a very good job on cleaning some old brass objects. Have tried it on other metals and worked fine on those as well.

Super fine and excellent quality. Used to polishing and to make steel-vinegar solution. Far more than required and will last me years to come.

Quality wire wool

Simply amazing stuff. Cleans glass up brilliantly. Vases have never looked so good. Works wonders on windows too. Good value and enough to last years.

i have been using some cheap 0000 grade steel wool which is ok but not great , decided to order this for a bigger project that i have coming up and to be honest , you really do get what you pay for - this one last longer , cleans better and is just all round better to use but it does have a really odd smell in use, not an important issue , i guess its what ever they put on the wool to stop it corroding ? but it does seem to permeate into your skin for ages , wont stop me from reordering it though . I guess the answer is - wear gloves

Excellent buy - in terms of quantity alone much better value (assuming you need a lot) than the wire wool that's sold by metre lengths. Also came with authentic Liberon labelling so I knew I was getting the real thing. This fine grade is ideal for fine polishing/finishing for wood, glass, etc. Will buy more from the same seller when I've used this lot up.
