I gave this a 5 because it's perfect. I have thick natural hair which I straighten with ceramic straightners and blowdriers. Due to the amount of heat that I am applying, I need to have a serum that will protect my hair from burning and becomming heat damage - this does exactly that. But what's better is that it moisturises the hair as well so it leaves a really nice glossy finished when I'm done and my hair feels super soft. I can't say what it will do for hair types lower than a 4, however for all the natural 4's out there, this is definitely a staple! I can't imagine switching to something else.

I have been using this for years and it's always been amazing. Have they changed the formula because this recent batch felt like glue and I had to wash my hair again!

Best product I’ve used in my daughters hair, serum protects and leave her hair soft and shiny, she has mixed hair and other products don’t work so well.

I love the smell and it’s not too sticky.Straightening results are great and my hair feels lovely and soft.No burning or crispy feeling.I have Afro hair (3b/c) and i have had no heat damage whilst using this product.

This is seriously amazing stuff! ive got fine hair but lots of it which is breaking off from straightening and highlighting but instead of resembling a hay stack, my hair is now super soft and silky after using this stuff and has stopped breaking off even after using a hair dryer and straightener! i washed and conditioned my hair, towel dried gently then applied three drops evenly to damp hair, i used three large drops cos i have long hair, did my usual routine which requires o lot of heat! and my hair is completely transformed, this is a product that really does work and is not expensive and i have tried many expensive products and none of them worked so buy it, you will not be disappointed!
