I am a nurse I use this product in the clinic for pt. with dry skin. It helps the skin stay moisturized without being greasy. i recommend it to my clients as well as using it on myself. I also use it on my husbands feet he has diabetes . This help keep the skin on his feet from becoming cracked and cause sores as a result of the cracking. This is a inexpensive product that goes above an beyond the call of duty. Elta is a skin and wound care product that is worth it weight in improving the texture of the skin , with out the greasy feeling!

Received in time specified and package very nicely with bubble wrap around jar and placed in ziploc bag along with normal shipping bubble wrap. The jar is sealed when open the top.I have moderate to severe eczema and allergy to PPG and PEG and other common preservatives all my life (40yrs). Resta (aka Elta) appears to be the same even with name change.This Creme always works best as directed (ie skin is a bit moist). This definitely moisturized dry skin. There is a slight creamy oil feel but that is a relief to someone with dry skin. Only a small amount is necessary to smooth over average portions of skin. I noticed a difference in 12 hours.

My mom's doctor recommended that she buy this product. She and I have been sharing it and I feel that the skin on the back of my hands are more plump and supple. I've even used it on my upper lips and feel I'm seeing some reduction in the fine lines. I'm 60 years old and my mom is in her 80's.

Yes, it’s a little slick, but it works so well when nothing else has! Definitely don’t need a lot — a little goes a long way. My skin is exceptionally dry and this works better than any other oil, lotion, cream, etc.

Great product. The only problem was that the jar wasn't sealed well and some leaked out into the shipping bag.

I have poor circulation to my legs, which makes them dry and the skin prone to breaking and sores forming. My vascular surgeon, who dresses these wounds that don't want to heal, got me started usng Elta, and I am amazed at the difference it makes.After my first tube of Elta, I was very pleased with it, but wondered if it might be just because I was faithful to apply it daily. So, to 'save' money, I tried other lotions - Cocoa Butter Deep Moisturizing Conditioner, Lubriderm Intense Skin Repar, and Jergen's Extra Healing Lotion for extra dry skin. They just don't measure up. Their therapeutic effects are short term at best, and at worst some are sticky and unpleasantly thick. And all of them, even when applied 2 or 3 times a day, have only a topical, temporary effect.Almost immediately after using Elta, my skin is stronger and softer, definitely visibly healthier. Applied just once a day (after a hot shower is best), and using only a small amount (it's all you need it glides on so silkily) it's softening, smoothing lasts all day. Reapply a lttle in the evening for even more impact!This pound jar will last for months so it actually works out to be the best way to buy it. Since I won't be trying any more substitutes, why buy the smaller quantity?

First of all, I use this product at work. So I already know how good it can be. That's why I ordered it for my husband. He is severely diabetic. He only has 3 toes on one foot and is missing half of his other foot, to give you an idea. Naturally, he had the horrendously dry feet and thick calluses that so many diabetics suffer with. His are some of the worst I've ever seen, actually. I used this product on him ONCE and when I checked his feet a couple of house later there was a HUGE difference. Its the only thing that's actually worked on him, and we've used a ton of products for years. And I only used a tiny amount so this tub is going to last us a long time. Will definitely be purchasing again!On another note, I would also like to mention that the seller was excellent. Not only was the shipping free, but I got it the day after ordering when the estimated delivery was supposed to be 5 to 7 days. So this customer is extremely satisfied all around!

This is the best cream for dry skin. We have tried aquaphor, lubriderm, cocoa butter, Nivea, bag balm, working hands, and a handful of others. This one was recommended my a wound care nurse, so we gave it a try. It is pricey, but works the best. It soaks in to the skin and moisturizes all day.
