Stain Devils - Cooking Oil & Fat

I don’t usually get excited about cleaning products, but this Dr Beckmann Stain Devils for Cooking Oil & Fat genuinely deserves a shoutout. It’s incredibly functional – I had a stubborn olive oil stain on my favourite top, and after one treatment, it was like it was never there. The quality is top-notch, with a formula that feels professional but gentle on clothes. I also appreciate that it has a light, clean smell rather than the harsh chemical scent that many stain removers have, making it pleasant to use in a small laundry room. The appearance is clean and straightforward, and the clear instructions make it beginner-friendly if you’re not used to using targeted stain removers. In terms of ease of use, it’s very straightforward – apply, leave for a few minutes, then wash as normal. The spray effectiveness is excellent; it gives a controlled, even coverage, so you’re not wasting product or over-soaking your clothes. Overall, it’s a little hero in my laundry cupboard, and I’d recommend it to anyone who cooks regularly and deals with oil splashes on clothes. It does exactly what it promises and saves clothes I thought I’d ruined.

This worked like a dream! Got an oil stain out of a north face jacket. Tried lots of different methods. This worked first time.

Really good stain remover, but I can't stress enough how small this bottle is. Its like a sample bottle. So naturally for clothes prone to grease marks it doesn't last more than a few washes. The product itself is very good, but 4 stars because I wish they did a bigger version.

Had an incident involving chocolate. Kids, amirite? It wasn't pretty and it didn't clean well at all. So I got this. And I may have doused the area with enough to have cleaned everything in the house, but! It worked. My jacket didn't lose any colour and looks great. Cheap, easy to use, and saved my jacket. Unfortunately the kids are still here so it doesn't clean everything.

It really works on cooking oil and removed my old oil stains.

Check the size! Don’t be so trusting, this is tiny sized. My bad for not checking.

I’m amazed.. On a pair of nike tech fleece sweatpants i wear to the gym, i splashed some steak grease whilst washing my frying pan, it permanently looked like i’d had an accident in the toilet 😅 I put some fairy washing up liquid over it, rubbed it in then threw them in the washing machine. They came out still with the stains.. pretty gutted cos they’re so comfy and quite pricey. Saw this stuff and thought i’d give it a try (even though one review said once you’d laundered them there’s no hope as the stain has set) so a week later, poured some over the stain, left for 12 minutes, threw in the washing machine and they have come out with no stain.. genuinely amazed!

Stain removal: Very effective at removing sun tan lotion stains on white shirts. Reduced the rating to 4 as it’s a very small amount provided.
