I made do with a poor quality laptop bag for a while, which barely contained the hulking form and heft of my Asus ROG G751 having laptop. I bought a cheap one which, in hindsight, made little sense to carry something which was expensive, but I digress. Things came to a head not long before I bought this one, when one of the shoulder straps on the cheap bag gave way just as I was singing it over my shoulder.It was a miracle that my precious (but admittedly aging) gaming laptop didn't receive a black-eye as a result, but it made me realise on the spot the importance of not scrimping when it comes to baggage for a laptop.I looked long and hard at reviews and whittled my selection down to a collection of three bags, but the Steelseries Sniper won by a country mile if all truth be told. The others didn't stand a chance. I did balk at the price, but I had a bunch of gift vouchers to spend, which made it easier to digest.As always, the bag arrived quickly and I was immediately impressed by the quality of it, and of the dearth of pockets and compartments in it, of which there are many. Most importantly, my chunky 4.5kg and 17.3" gaming machine slid into the main compartment with room to spare, and sat cocooned in padding, and suspended on a hammock of strong fabric. It's a really cool design. I'm addition to that, there's a secondary compartment for a smaller laptop or tablet, space for a full-size keyboard, mouse, controllers and all sorts of stuff - in fact, there's space inside this bag for all of my gaming gear, some clothing, a bottle, a book and my lunch - and probably room for more. It's insane.When you're carrying so much gear around, comfort is of paramount importance - and in this department the Sniper excels. With my cheap backpack, I ended up with sore shoulders and it never felt secure, but this beast is on a different level; it's super padded and has a chest clip for security, and it feels very well balanced on the back. It's got extra grab handles too and a concealed (and very cool) reflective rain cover. Even when carrying close on 10Kg of gear, this thing feels great.So... Yeah. It's amazing and actually well worth the cost.

I bought this as a gift both for myself and my boyfriend. We both have expensive laptop equipment that we want to carry in a safe, comfortable way without having to carry ten thousand other bags while doing so. My bf's laptop is a 17" MSI and it is bulky, so it needed to be a proper, big, padded bag that provided enough protection for it. He loves it and also its design and so do I. Seriously considering getting one for myself alone in the future. It is expensive, yes, but when it comes to gaming equipment everything is. At least this one is not just the name but also the quality what you buy.

This is a nice quality backpack that fits my 17” gaming laptop and accessories perfectly. Expensive but seems to have been worth the price. Hopefully it will last a good few years.

Great Bag fits my 17.3 clevo gaming laptop and probably would fit an 18 inch. Great build quality and has enough space to fit xbox pads xbone x4, full size keyboard large mouse mat & mouse, cooler base, hdmi & power brick, gaming headset etc etc.

Great bag with an absolute plethora of pockets for various things. We’ll build and nicely padded.Only thing to bear in mind is that as the name suggests it is a gaming bag, so it’s mainly used to transport gamer gear, laptops, keyboards and other peripherals it doesn’t do a great job if you want to pack anything other than that as it has limited space for it or makes the bag become quite bulky.

I really enjoy this backpack. Holds everything in place, loads of pockets and good quality. It might get heavy once fully loaded but this is what is for.....loading and carrying everything you want to fully enjoy your accessories!

First thing, the bag itself is great, plenty of space, protection and happily holds a 17” laptop.The front pouches are removable and great for storing HDD’s or iPads/kindles etc.However I have to leave a poor review as after only a month of use (which has only involved use out of the house on 2 occasions) the zip on the main pouch which is home to my laptop has burst.

I am very pleased with this backpack my 17" gaming laptop fits in it with ease and the padding on both the straps / back support is verycomfortable even when its weighted down. I like the fact it has detachable pockets on the front and its not short of pockets. Thatbeing said I do wish there was a space to put my biggish gaming headphones (Hyperx Cloud II headphones) which would provide themwith a little more protection because unfortunately they don't fold up (and I am sure its not just my headphones that don't fold up.
