Great first dummy - teats shaped similar to Dr Brown's teats.
My baby wouldn't take a dummy at all - despite trying the majority on the market (Avent, MAM, Nuk, and Tommee Tippee). I wanted to use a dummy as my child was sucking their hands to the point of giving themselves blisters. This was the only one that he would accept. I believe that the reason for this is that the teat is shaped in a way which is very similar to the teats on a Dr Brown's feeding bottle. After persevering with this dummy, my child will now accept most other brands of dummy - I have no way of explaining this other than thinking that the Gumdrop dummies acted as a "training" dummy.A negative is that they look very unattractive in your child's mouth. They are quite large, especially for a new born and what is even weirder is that you can see inside their mouth as they are sucking. Of course, none of this matters if the dummy is providing your child with comfort and relief.

Brilliant
Finally found something that doesn't make my baby gag! He has struggled with all of the popular brands of dummy as they all seem to be very bulbous at the end of the teat and even the smallest sizes were making him gag. These are the same shape/size as a Doctor Browns bottle teat and have been brilliant. It's nice that the whole thing is a slightly rubbery material as well instead of hard plastic.

My son was given one of these when he was first born in intensive care and took to it but it was pink so we had to buy some more boyish ones. Fab dummies and has a hole to attach a dummy clip so no lost dummies. Would buy again and wouldn't use any other brand now.

My boy doesn't like any others
I bought these dummies for my second because I my first never took any of the others. Although I don't need them very often, when I do they are a lifesaver. My boy doesn't like any others. He just takes these!Delivery was fast and reliable as always.I definitely recommend them if you are breastfeeding because they resemble the nipple more closely than any others. We tried them when my boy was just 10 days old and it didn't interfere with breastfeeding!I gave 4 stars because the green one had a little piece of silicone hanging off. I managed to remove it without damaging the dummy, but it was a little annoying!

U ordered these as my baby wanted to suck but wouldn't take any other dummy
U ordered these as my baby wanted to suck but wouldn't take any other dummy, he would suck on these only for a short time, and in the end I just accepted he didn't want to have a dummy so altho my son still wouldn't take these I would recommend if your baby really does want a dummy but wont take any others.

Lifesaver
These dummies have been a lifesaver my 16 week old was too used to sucking on mine or dads little finger for comfort and we tried every dummy you can buy in every shape but he would not take any of them till we tried these dummies. I think the shape of these makes all the difference and would recommend these to anyone that has a needy little one that won't take a dummy.

Too heavy for newborns
Too heavy for newborns and the teat is too small, our baby can barely keep it in and it falls out frequently. Don’t bother, go for a Philips soothie instead

My now 3 month old breadtfed baby will accept these ...
My now 3 month old breadtfed baby will accept these dummies occasionally. Iv been trying a few different ones to sooth him rather than being at the breast for comfort. They're not as soft as I thought they would be which was disappointing for the price - not exactly cheep. My toddler (loves!) and 3month old will also have the Philips avent dummies. Maybe try those too as cheaper and I actually think the silicone is softer.
