As expected, good quality

Both my boys enjoyed this book when they were small (9 months - 2 years) and I have bought it for friends too. The pictures are what makes it as the story is very well known and repetitive... There are lots of little details in the illustrations that you can spot with your child - mummy duck does ironing (just like mummy), she also drinks tea and likes to paint watercolours! There are also lots of other animals to spot in the background. The perfect book for bedtime - repetitive, not scary and once mummy finds her little ducks they finish up round a table having a glass of milk and eating the apple pie she makes earlier in the book... then, as it is night-time (turn the page to the backcover) they all go to bed....A sturdy boardbook and small enough to be easily portable, I loved this book :)
