Just what I needed

generally, I haven't been using them long, but there's water collecting in the knife head after each wash... apart from that, th knife set is beautiful, the stand is solid, and it will enhance any kitchen space.

I recently bought a whole range of this line storage toaster kettle mug stand slo cooker kitchen roll holder and up till now I have had 3 of the items have problems really disappointed as I’ve had a set of pots pans and they have been great in the past I no this range is middle range pricewise but you would expect better craftsmanship from tower Unfortunately that’s not the case I would consider changing to a different maker tbh if you are thinking of purchasing either go real cheaper and expect to throw it away in 6-12 months Or pay up four times as much or at least half again more to get hopefully a decently made product The knives are losing their finish after only a month And that’s with hand washing them Will be returning these to them or Amazon shortly As they where nice to handle use and looked nice but unfortunately they look shabby now all being different shades and some nearly back to base metal Avoid product

Smooth cutting action.

I appreciated that this knife set was never going to be for the professional, rose gold and marble certainly isn’t the on the priority list for the Michelin starred chef after all. However I was hoping that it would be suitable for the aspiring home cook. First of all I would like to mention that these knives looked fantastic straight out of the box, the rose gold was vibrant and the soft grip handles felt nice. But the display block felt like cheap plastic and was impossible to clean on the inside. Dust and dirt does accumulate and if you wash it the non-slip rubber blocks fall off and the plastic scratches. Again, the knives were sharp and perfectly finished with a wood grain effect on the blade. The problem is that the blade runs the full length of the tang but there is no bolster, so if you are cutting through something tough and you slip, be prepared to cut your finger. I think the most disappointing thing about these knives is that the marble effect soft grip starts to peel off in less than twelve months (pictured). Also, I knew that when I sharpened them that the rose gold would strip away, but it didn’t expect it to scratch off through use or hand washing, however on the more frequently used - such as the paring and the utility - the colour has started to wear. Also, once sharpened they blunt very quickly. Overall I would say that these knives do a great job of looking the part when brand new, but if you are planning on using them any more than just periodically, I would invest in something better.

Looks really nice, had to sharpen knives before using. Stand is just cheap plastic.

The block is plastic not glass, the knifes are very lightweight.. but it is cheap and looks nice, only using for display as I doubt they would last very long if used.
