I'm always on the lookout for decent kitchen scissors and these appealed as came as a twin pack for under £10 at the time of purchase. (I cannot stand sharpening blades as the noise and feel of the blade grind goes through me, sadly because of this i have yo just buy new scissors when blunt. An expensive downfall at times). The previous reviews I read through were all super positive so I purchased as was buying another item off the company at the time anyway. One pair came neatly packaged with a perfect box but the other looked like it had been thrown around a warehouse! I checked the scissors in the crushed packaging and they seemed okay as had their sheath on and were tucked into plastic wrapping inside. Maybe the last pair on the shelf?! The scissors themselves are just okay, I'm a tad disappointed as I think I expected far more from what I had read. They are sturdy in their build and smooth to hold, comfortable size so my chunky fingers dont feel overly squashed in the handling holes. The sheath does its job for safety as it secures the blades well when on but I tend to leave it off as I forget about it and annoyingly try cutting with it on every time! I did laugh when my Husband picked up the sheath I had left laying in the drawer and attempted to open his beer with it. He told me it looked like a bottle opener laying there. The blades are sharp on arrival and have cut through thick card, gift bags, dog food packaging and plastic to date. I've yet to try the other uses such as bottle opener and jaw opener so can't comment, but if they work then these will definitely be versatile, functional and super handy as many tools in one.
