Great for safety
I work on marine terminals and need as much safety as possible. I have two of these. One orange & one red. I put them on my car while driving around the terminal. The magnetic suction is good as well. I drove home with it still on. I had forgotten to take it off before I left. It never moved at all when I noticed it after I got home. I'm on terminal for hours at a time & have never experienced it dying.

Good Battery operated light
This light works well, but cannot be controlled directly with a 12 or 24v input. It works fine as a stand-alone, rechargeable unit.
