Portable Charger RAVPower 6700mAh Power Bank External Battery Pack (iSmart 2.0 Technology, 2.4A Output and 2A Input) For iPhone XS/XS MAX/XR, Galaxy S9/S8,and Android Devices

Had another, bigger RAV power bank for quite a while now, and absolutely thrilled with it, so thought a small one, just for one charge, would just be brilliant! Nope! Bought this 6700mAh one and right away after charging it (wasn't on full charge) took it to charge my 4000mAh phone, however, it only charged it to approximately 35%. Tried another time - same, and the power bank itself was hot hot hot! Ok, faulty :( tried to send it back, however, it turns out that it cannot be returned that easily, and only some 3rd party company would return it to Amazon, which would then refund for the return. After some long discussions with Customer Service at Amazon, they sent me another one without me having to send the first one to them. HOWEVER, the new one only ever charged my phone up to 91% - 6700mAh power bank charhing a 4000mAh phone to 91% - do the maths... didn't want to get to all the trouble to refund it again, as this is close enough to one full charge, as originally my intention was, but... today this thing stopped working at all - after just short of 4 months of use!!! Took it off charge yesterday evening with all 4 LEDs lit up and tried to charge it my phone now - nope, not charging, not any sign of life on power bank... Shopping for another power bank now - no intention to go for this again!

Very good power bank from RAV. I have been using this power bank for a month now and it is charging my phone's battery (2390 mAh) 2 times (1 time full and the second time 91 %). It charges my phone fully in 3 hours which is the usual time for my phone to be fully charged since the maximum input for my phone is 500 ma only but it charged my tablet faster so I can say it is a fast powerbank. It takes around 6 hours to recharge this power bank with my 5v 1amp charger but it took me around 3 hours to recharge it with 2amp charger I borrowed from my friend once. Very small in size and very light so it is easy to keep it in your pocket if you are walking around your city or in your bag if you are traveling far from home. 2 full charges is more than enough to survive for one or two days until you reach a place with a wall socket or to enjoy taking photos and videos without worring that your phone will switch off. Totally Recommended!

I've previously bought two of the larger RAVPower 16000mA chargers .. had them for two years and still working well - they're pretty big .. good for weekends away / cycle touring / long flights etc. I wanted something pocket size as battery in my iPhone 6 is getting a bit old. This is just right.. light enough so you don't really notice it in your pocket. Same very solid quality as my other items from RAVPower. So far I've fully charged the phone three times from half full and used about half the power in the charger.. my guess is it would charge it two maybe three times from empty.In answer to the countless questions from people.. will it charge this or that.. my experience is.. It provides the same power as plugging into a USB port on a PC .. so if it can be charged with a standard USB socket.. this charger will charge it.

Bought two for powering some gadgets. They work, but I noticed the voltage sags and they get hot in use. I measured with my USB power meter and thermal camera. With a constant 2.4A load, the USB voltage when fully charged was 5.06V but immediately started falling, to 4.0V by the time the power bank is empty - it takes 1h30 to empty it, a total of 15.3Wh (picture 1). If the battery capacity before losses should be 24Wh. I think the sagging is why many people say their phones charge slowly.Resting on the desk in at winter room temperature, the outside of the power bank when discharging got to 53C (picture 2). But if you put it in contact with fabric, like when in a pocket as you might when charging your phone, it gets painfully hot. I tested with a thin cotton glove and, when removed from the glove, the surface was 73C (pictures 3 & 4). It hurt my skin to carry in my jeans back pocket.When charging, the device claims to be 5V 2A but the current starts at 1.4A and rapidly falls. From a 2.4A Aukey charger it took about 3 hours to charge - that's an average current of 1A before losses.I wasn't happy and asked for a return.

Its nice and compact and for its size it packs a punch, charges devices fast and comes with a small neat bag. We have larger powerbanks and I needed a small one for doing a long bike ride using the phone GPS/Mapping which drains the phone very fast over a few hours. Worked a treat and its good value for a 6700mAh. Four LEDs give the status on how much is left. Takes a while to recharge but its expected. Quality seems good, nicely boxed and has the standard mini USB cable included.

Bought for son who had mislaid previous one. He relies on it - a real life-saver. Small, compact and efficient. Make sure you use right cable with it. Old cable lead to slow charge but newer cable all good.

Very pleased with this portable power bank. Obviously Pokémon Go is the reason it has become necessary and it does the job very well. Anyone who has played the game will know how fast it burns battery life. This little power bank is actually able to charge the phone battery up even as the game is still running and it is conveniently small to be kept in a coat pocket. RAV Power also deserve praise for their packaging which is low volume, and recyclable. Charger came in a nice little cardboard box along with its cable and a little carrying pouch.

Perfect! I recently went travelling for a month, and this came in handy several times.+ Ample capacity (charges my phone around 3 times from 50%)+ Really small, fits anywhere+ Nice carry pouch+ Comes with short USB cable - you can use the same cable to charge your phone, or the power bank+ CheapAll I needed really.
