Ortofon Sh-4 Black Aluminum Cartridge Headshell

I have 2 Ortofon Sh-4 Silver Aluminum Cartridge Headshells used to effectively support Audio Technica VM95SH and one of my 2 Audio Technica AT-440MLB cartridges on my Reloop rp 7000 Mk2 turntable. I had been using Audio Technica HS24 headshells, but I find the Ortofon marginally superior, by being more tonally neutral and with better bass definition.

Do what it’s supposed to do:Holds cartridge good, looking very nice also.With Ortofon 2M Red it brings nicely colour to grey turntable.

This is the second one I bought they are very good value for the money and well made by Ortofon In there own factory i have never had any type problem with Orfoton products and they are my go to for anything HI FI and this SH-4 is for my 2M black when it arrives just follow the set up to the letter and it will be spot on as always 😀

As with all ortofon products. Good quality. Matched my Ortofon 2m silver cartridge to this silver headshell nicely. Good quality feel to it.

£35 for a headshell felt like a big expense until I lashed a cart and stylus to it. Fully operational, attractive, well weighted and stable. Very pleased with this. It has certainly improved playback on my system.
