Perfect kettle
Great kettle with lots of features. I really love the sleek black design and the ability to heat water in varying temperatures 70, 80, 90, 100 and then keep it at that temperature. Easy to fill, fairly light and very quick to boil. The base plate is a nice touch and beeps when water reaches temperature. Excellent

Fantastic kettle!
We love this kettle. It boils fast and great with the different temperature settings and the minimum amount of water required is just for one cup of tea so not wasting unused water either. Great with the kettle exterior not getting warm either so you don’t burn yourself from touching it and the open button at the top is easy to use compared to other kettles. Amazing kettle and we love it and it looks great too.

Fabulous kettle that looks great and works very well
I had a previous version of this kettle - which got lost in a house move. I got a cheap replacement which was just awful and so back to Bosch. I returned the one Amazon sent - as despite being described as new it had small dents in the metal section. The new one I bought since is lovely, in white with a white handle and base unit. Very smart. It’s true that the water level is slightly difficult to read initially but you can soon work it out. I like that the lid opens. with a switch on the handle - you can easily fill it too via the wide metal spout. It boils very quickly and I think is quieter than my old Bosch kettle. The kettle switches on via the base unit and you select the temperature there too. Very easy and intuitive. Nice beep when it’s boiled - just the right level of loudness to alert you without being annoyingly too loud. Not too much steam produced when it boils which is also a plus - will be useful in winter in my current badly ventilated kitchen which is prone to condensation. I have a lot of Bosch appliances in my home because they are good quality and last.

Very nice kettle - highly recommended
Not all kettles are the same!! The one fills easily, boils quickly, and pours well without dribbling. It allows one of three temperatures to be selected and also has an extraordinarily useful "Keep warm" feature. So, in summary to this point: 10/10. But, but, but it isn't cheap at about £60 and I've knocked off One Star because it comes with only a 2-year Guarantee. IMHO, if this high-priced kettle can't be made of components likely to last at least five years, it really needs to be re-thought. I'd like a Guarantee of at least 3 years and ideally longer.

Bosch 3 temperature kettle, GREAT VALUE.
Perfect Kettle. Fast boiling. Bought ours in December 2013 and it started leaking yesterday after a descale soak (March 2026 12 years 3 months old) so I'll buy another. Only needed descaling about 3 times in its life. This is the best value kettle we have ever had. 90 degrees for filter coffee and a great keep warm function. Handy water level gauge and a scale strainer by the spout.

Great kettle
The Bosch Styline Kettle has been one of my best kitchen purchases! It looks sleek and modern on my countertop, and it’s incredibly efficient — water boils in no time. I love the temperature control settings, which make it perfect for everything from green tea to coffee or even baby bottles. The build quality feels solid and premium, and the kettle is surprisingly quiet compared to others I’ve used. The keep-warm function is a great bonus, especially when I’m busy and don’t want to reboil the water. Cleaning is easy too — no limescale buildup so far thanks to the good filter design. Overall, it’s a stylish and reliable kettle that combines performance with convenience. Bosch really nailed it with this one — highly recommended for anyone who values both function and design

Top marks for Bosch!
Great kettle. Can adjust temperature if you don’t actually need it boiling. It’s fast. The only slight downside is it’s a little heavy.

Initially great but then major problems developed
I was looking for a kettle that had a variable temperature setting for specialist teas/coffee and there were only two in the competition for my money, this and the Cusinart model. Ultimately it boiled down to the cost differential, which meant that the Bosch edged it, as both seem to have garnered equally good reviews both here and in Which testing. On first sight the main thing to strike you is the sheer size of the beastie, it was replacing a John Lewis 1.5l model and despite it having the same capacity it positively dwarfs it in comparison. Aesthetically it really is quite striking and even takes into account us lefties, with the same styling evident whether mounted left, or right, handed on the base station. If I have any criticism it would be that the buttons on the base station feel a little cheap and the audible beep when turning on is a little annoying, but these are very minor gripes. The other concern I have is whether the white plastic cladding on the outside of the kettle and base station will discolour with age, but then only time will tell on this front. Boil time is fast taking approx 2.5 mins on full capacity and is not unduly noisy as some have suggested in earlier reviews. The rubberised handle is a nice feature and the lid has so far been trouble-free, with no sticking evident. There are 4 temperature settings of 70,80,90 and 100 degrees C with a keep warm facility that works for a maximum 30 minutes before cutting out. Filling is a breeze with the lid fully opening to reveal the large cavity within by a touch of the central release button on the lid, alternatively you can fill via the spout without opening it up. The kettle is double walled which means that the water will stay hotter for longer and although it is plastic lined, it doesn't transfer any horrible chemical taste to the water like so many other brands I have previously tried. It does say to add a tablespoon of white vinegar to the first boil and leave for a little while so maybe this helps reduce the chance of a chemical taste occurring. It comes with a two year warranty (register online with Bosch) which is a year short of the 3year Cuisinart model, but then it is 30% cheaper at the time of writing this and does win the battle on aesthetics, whilst being comparable on function judging by the amazon reviews alone. Edit 26/03/2012- 2 weeks in and I have noticed that the lid does not always open when the central button is depressed, requiring several pushes or sometimes just popping a finger in the spout and pulling it upwards. It seems that water tension in the gutter around where the lid sits, is enough to overcome the spring mechanism. Also found that the graphic decal on the power button of the base unit is wearing off! Also been caught out several times with the gushing spout just after the beep has gone off which I think is rather dangerous. I will write to Bosch to see what they have to say before reporting back. Edit 14/06/12- in addition to the problems mentioned in the last edit, the kettle has now developed yet another fault. Sometimes it just doesn't switch off and continues to boil, maniacally spitting boiling water all over the work surface and anyone within 2 feet of it, which is now the final straw. The device is being returned along with a strong letter of complaint to Bosch and the safety directive, as I believe this kettle is unsafe and unfit for purpose. Initially a five star product but now reduced to one star and that's being generous. Shame on you Bosch.

Top of the range kettle, lightweight, display with pride, BUT, BE VERY CAREFUL, plug is NOT compatible with Australian power points, I was heartbroken when I had to return it. If you have a UK adaptor definitely go for it, second to none

The item was shipped with a non-EU plug, but had no warning message that it's a foreign plug.
