Griffin, Cinthea Vadala: Books Review: Very useful for undergrad classes - I took biology 30 years ago and several members of my class had bought this book on their own. I never bought at that time but it always stuck with me. Flash forward and now I'm planning to go to nursing school and I have retake most of the science classes I took way back when because they expired. I bought this coloring book because it makes you stop and look things slowly and step by step as you color. I have used this for biology, microbiology, and A&P. Its undergrad level but there are things where it goes in depth. My current microbiology class is a nightmare. I got this book out to understand glycolysis and the TCA cycle. The information in it along with the information from my class helped me to understand it. Covered in the book are cells, DNA, microscopes, genes, ecology, ATP and A&P along with a whole lot of other things. I don't know if I'll use all of it, but it is helpful to slow down and really look at whatever topic I'm studying. I'm a visual learner so this book was great for me. I would recommend it as a supplement for a your biology science classes. Review: The best Biology coloring book! - This is a great way to study the basic concepts of Biology, for those of us who are visual learners. Coloring is also relaxing, making it a low-stress study strategy.

Informational & Fun
Love this book because it combines learning with the relaxing activity of coloring. The information is thorough, concise and the images are very informative. Great for all people who love science. Makes learning, or refreshing your memory of the subject, fun, enjoyable and engaging.

Biology Coloring Book
I found this coloring book very helpful to remembering biology terms and organisms when I was a biology major 15 years ago. The process of coloring was part of the note taking and helped memory. I also bought one for my college age child recently. She is dyslexic and coloring helps her visualize, again, increased memory.

The real deal- informative and fun.
In our home, we have a high level of curiosity that drives us, so we find creative ways to learn and explore different ideas and subjects. I really like that "The Biology Coloring Book" is so much more than a mere coloring book. It has real information that provides a solid foundation for further study. This isn't heard toward little kids, but is appropriate for middle schoolers on up to high school. Grab your gel pens or colored pencils and order this book. You'll be glad you did!

I love this book
I love this book. I bought it to keep my mind fresh of biology. Since I graduated this summer and I miss school a whole lot. I am a science major as you can see. While I enter med school, I am entertaining myself coloring cells and atoms. This book is great I recommend it to everyone. It also has explanations of each thing you are coloring. This is a great gift for even little kids who are enthusiasts of science. Grown ups too. ;)
