Moroccanoil Smoothing Lotion

This Moroccanoil product has been a true game changer for my hair routine. I have quite fine, straight hair that’s prone to frizz and flyaways. Since I started using this styling cream, I've noticed my hair feels much smoother and is easier to manage. The cream has a delightful fragrance that isn't too overpowering, and it really makes my hair shine without feeling greasy. I use just the tiniest amount, which goes a long way, making it quite economical despite the initial cost. However, I did find that it didn’t quite tame all the frizz, particularly on more humid days. One of the best things about this product is how it performs when I style my hair. I usually apply a small dab after washing, and it helps in giving a sleek, polished look. For someone like me who often skips the gel or mousse, it’s a fantastic alternative. It’s also been a lifesaver when travelling, as it doesn't spill easily and the compact size fits in my bag. Overall, a fantastic addition to my daily hair care, with minor room for improvement in frizz control.

Great for taming my coarse hair and getting rid of all the flyaways. Also smells really nice and does not feel sticky at all. Leaves hair soft.

I love me a good hair product, that I cannot deny. But this smells so nice. I am a natural curly and use this before I blow-dry my hair or straighten it. I have encountered one thing in some products: how they can tangle your hair. This applies well, and your brush will glide through. You do not have to use much, and your hair will feel moisturised without being weighed down, leaving you with that silky look and feel.

Very nice and stops my hair going wild when drying naturally. Looks good but does leave a slight film on the hair. Does the job though without being crunchy

This is a very good product. My hair feels very smooth, not greasy (unless you use too much), smells nice, stops frizz (mostly), stops the waves in my hair, good for styling.

I was a bit disappointed with this and am glad I only bought the small tube. It's a lovely cream and my hair feels better after using it. I would like to try other products in the range for my frizz prone hair, but the scent of this doesn't work for me. It's a kind of synthetic flowery smell which lasts for days and means I can't wear my own perfume as it would totally clash. This is why it's getting three stars from me. Shame.

My go-to! I love this stuff I have pretty thick hair as do my daughters. We live in WI so our summers tend to be humid and hot and our winters very cold. We also have the Moroccan oil but (I know I'm the minority) I like this so much better. It's not heavy or greasy. I have naturally curly hair that I typically straighten and this makes it smooth without weighing my hair down. In winter, it minimizes any static issues that I have like when I use just the oil. In summer, I still straighten my hair and it stays smooth and shiny, even in humidity. My girls have naturally curly hair and this gives them smooth and bouncy locks. If you know Moroccan oil products, you also know they smell amazing!!

This is the best solution that I've tried so far for frizzy hair. It leaves my hair soft and light, it feels like it has nothing on it, and the friz is greatly reduced. Big however: if you want something scent free, this is not for you. I applied way too much the first time (I was used to the amount needed for other products) and not only it made my hair a little greasy, but the smell was suffocating. Now I just put a very small amount, an almond size or less (shoulder length thin hair) and it works great. I like the smell but it can be a little too much for some people.
