Excellent replacement for an identical one which broke after almost 30 years regular use. But also nice to have a bright shiny new one again, which really smartens up an original sash window.

They wasn't as good as I was exspecting

A top quality product that solved the problem of locking secure the side hatch doors on my narrow boat

Super unsafe, attached to the windows and they broke immediately upon testing. The ball mechanism pops straight out with the even the slightest force in trying to open the window

Fairly solid looking, even in the packaging. Open it up and it’s not the best quality lock. Fair enough, not overly expensive. Start to install on the window and I pre drill the hole to keep it nice and tidy. Add the screw in and use impact driver (slow and easy waiting for the click) and the screw head comes straight off!Okay fair enough I’m using an impact driver, but I switch to a hand screwdriver and the same bloody thing happens. So I have to use different screws, now the ones I purchased from Screwfix don’t snap or break, but they don’t match unless I buy a can of gold spray paint. Not ideal!

Good value window lock

This product was great because I only needed part of it and it fit onto the old locking system

Within a couple of months the "screw" part, ie the connector from one pane of sash to other broke off.
