Great size. Not sure about the battery life because I just bought this magnifying glass, but it recharges using a standard USB-A attachment. Ot too heavy; I bought this item to read by, so the light is handy.

The media could not be loaded. I'm a 50-something coin collector who wanted to get a lighted magnifying glass that provided 40X magnification and had a built-in stand. This item works perfectly for me. It offers a bright light, clear magnification at the expected resolution, a multi-angle built-in stand, the ability to power it via 3 AAA batteries (not included) or via the USB-A to pin connector (cable included).My favorite feature is the magnification - an upgrade from my previous magnifying glass. I didn't really think I needed the built-in light, but it's very helpful and allows me to look at coins in a room with poor lighting without the need for further illumination. The stand works well, but it feels a bit flimsy. Time will tell if with frequent use it will remain attached to the handle. I like the button placement for illumination (on the left side of the glass. The ability to use the light when it's plugged into a USB port is great, and an unexpected feature.The body of this item is plastic, and it feels balanced in my hand. It's not very heavy, which I think makes it a good choice for all ages. I think the glass area is generous, and for under twenty dollars I think it's a good choice for me with my only reservations being about the stand and whether or not it will remain durable. I wish it was made of metal or a thicker plastic which would instill a bit more confidence in its use.Overall, I'm pleased and I recommend it.

A little bulky for hand holding. It works for what I wanted it for. The light is an added positive.

I bought this while doing a bit of watch repair. Not something I normally do. I got the watch disassembled and some of the screws were so small, I was having problems seeing well enough to get them put back in. Super easy to use and they magnified the watch and lit it up the work area properly to let me put the watch together again. This isn't the best tool for watch repair, but I do enough other small work to make this a great/useful purchase.

It works great,If you work with alot of small objects that need to magnify this is good one.The reason is, it has a stand to keep it up, while you are hands free.It comes with light feature but the lights could be better good thing I have extra light around which isn't too big of a issue for me.

Very satisfied! Magnification is excellent. No distortion. Large glass. Very bright lighting. I don't have any hobbies or projects. Mainly purchased this for hands free use in removing splinters. I would have given 5 stars but somehow I received a used one which was probably returned defective. Anyhow, customer service sent me out a new one within a week.

Item is exactly as written and looked. Is right size for what I wanted.

I was looking for a magnifying glass with a light that my grandchildren could be happy to use. Light is great, but I can't see the Mint Marks on coins; so it does perform as I expected. Might be good for looking at rocks & reading books or newspapers, but not coin details and errors! Buy a 10X Triplet Loupe made in America and that's ground glass and not acrylic or plastic.
