Are they suitable for the ghd 4.2b and do they require soldering as the current element appears to be attached by miniature screws? Thanks Shane

Very poor product
Very poor product. It states that the product is suitable for GHD 4.2b model, however it its alot bigger than the original and does not sit in the holder. Once installed and switched on the GHD's began to smoke. On inspecting the thermal fuse was burning against the plastic. Very poor product.

Wires are slightly longer than the original ones
So far so good heating element is working well, the only thing is the wires are slightly longer than the original ones but all you need to do is put a double bend in them
