Blundstone 585 Classic

I have a pair of Blundstone boots that I’ve never been able to break in. I even started to wonder if they were counterfeit boots. Then I got these. On day one I went for a three mile walk. My socks weren’t super thin but not thick either and these boots were perfect. No rubbing against my heel and the leather was not too stiff. One thing I did do was the night before wore them in the house for a few hours but otherwise they were great right out the box. Mind you these aren’t hiking boots but they were fine for a short urban walk. I bought my usual size. Unless they really stretch I probably will not be able to use with super thick socks. Also the rustic brown is gorgeous. Worth the money? You get what you pay for when it comes to shoes.ETA: they did stretch and the next day wore thicker socks. Great boots.

In my opinion this shoe runs small. The first pair I ordered in my size were so hard to put on. I finally got my foot in and it immediately was hurting the top of my foot from being too tight. Down at the toe is was the right size, but very tight on the top of my foot. Not to mention the hernia I almost got trying to take the shoe off. I ordered the shoe in a full size larger and i was able to get it on fine. No tightness on the top of my foot. The toe area is a tad bit long because I sized up, but I generally wear bigger socks with these shoes anyways to stay warm, that it doesn’t feel too big. These shoes are so dang comfortableAnd cute. I had admired them for about 8 months prior to purchasing and was hesitant to get them because of the price, but I am so glad I got them. They have been great!

Have been wearing these daily since I purchased them months ago. So comfortable, and look just as good as the day I bought them (leather is breaking in and fading nicely, tread is perfect). Boots are comfortable and supportive, but might not be a good match if you find yourself needing extra support in the arch.I usually wear a size 10 women’s, purchased these in a size 7.

Be careful with sizes and quality. Especially on each shoe because my left shoe arrived smaller than the right shoe because of a defect and I followed the recommendations of broke them in but it never worked and now I can’t get the right size or a replacement. As soon as you fell something weird just replace them before use them. And of course use them inside the house, they can charge you an extra fee for any sign of use and they’ll charge you an extra fee for restock fee if you pass the initial return window. Very bad seller.

These are nice boots but the quality seems lacking from what I expected from the reviews and price. The leather feels stiff and they don’t look as high quality as I expected. The fit is good, I’m a 10.5-11 womens and I ordered the US womens 11 / US mens 9 and I received an AU 8 which is exactly what I expected. They fit well, roomier in the toe box than most shoes which is great and just the right amount of room lengthwise. They are tight getting them on and off, I have a somewhat narrow foot and high arches and it’s a struggle getting them on and off but I’m hoping they loosen up. I’m really hoping they will get softer and more comfortable with wear. They have a chemical smell which kind of adds to the low quality feeling and I’m trying to let them air out for a while before wearing them. Overall I like them but expected better because of all the hype and the price. I love the style of them and I’m hoping that breaking them in will make them my favorites shoes.

Wish I had gotten this style the first time I purchased Blundstones. This is my third pair and I know they will be my favorite. They are comfortable and so cute. I think if you have never worn Blundstones you should start with this style #585. They are softer and have a more broken in feel. You won’t regret it. They also came with an extra set of insoles. So happy with my purchase!

I love Blunstone boots and I’ve worn them for sometime. I ordered a size 4.5 in a 550 and I received a 585 in a size 3.5The color was even incorrect.

It arrived today, and visually, it is exactly what I was expected. I'm very satisfied. Hopefully, the quality will live up to expectations as well.
