I always thought I was against these, but it’s necessary for my reactive dog. It’s the only thing that has worked to make our walks enjoyable. I was nervous because the one I bought before this kept coming undone while walking her which was really really bad! So I wanted to make sure I had a good one that would t do that! At first use I was nervous about the click. I was very very afraid of it coming undone. I have a “lunger”. She’s super reactive and will suddenly lunge and jump at any dog walking by. Sometimes I don’t see what she hears and it takes me by surprise. I can manage her but needed a collar strong enough to hold her and to create enough discomfort for her to stop because when she’s reactive she stops at nothing (sometimes not even this) anyhow. This has held up VERY well and I’m so glad I got it. No complaints, no issues, no escaping dog. I love that we can enjoy daily walks together with this. Highly recommend.

It is not like others, since it is not a bunch of spikes wrapped for a full 360 degrees. Spikes are missing where there is a large sturdy clasp and also where a chain completes the circle around the dog's neck. I bought it for those features.The clasp works perfectly. If a collar link gets cocked into a jammed position , jiggle the link around to free it from the bind. The metal prongs are rounded over and the rubber tips are sharper. Wear it properly and there is no wind pipe damage.My dog loves to get the collar put on because it means we are going for a walk. He pulls against this collar. The collar releases tension around the dog's neck perfectly and quickly when there is slack in the leash because it has a chain. The retracting chain is super important.Dog heads are often as small around as will be the dogs' necks, and that allows collars to slip off. Loss of a collar means an un-restrained dog. I have had dogs that needed a harness on in order to keep a collar on. This collar does not slide off easily. My current dog, a border collie, wears this collar at our local dog trainers' club and on all trips in public.

We got this for our shiba that pulls on walks and he immediately dialed in and walked better. Used for about 3 weeks, then a clasp snapped on a walk, had to chase down our shiba for 3/4 of a mile. Thankfully he ran straight home. It was great while it lasted, but now scares us for trying any other brands!

Collar works well but clasp broke in under one year. Seller refunded entire purchase price.

This has been a lifesaver! My dog no longer pulls me down the block. It’s easy to put on and take off with the clip. It is the perfect size for him and good quality. 🥰

After learning to use these correctly, they have proven to be very valuable. We have one for each of our 4 dogs. They get excited when they see them because they know they get to go somewhere. They are not afraid of these collars, and are very well behaved when wearing them.

We absolutely love these collars for our dogs. The quality is incredible with no sharp edges. The functionality and training ability of them is phenomenal. They are easy to remove without harming your pet. They are adjustable which we love. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of how difficult it is to readjust them to a different size. Otherwise they are amazing and allow us to walk our dogs with ease. Would buy again!
