Yamaha PSR-S670 Digital Keyboard - Performance Instrument Designed for Professionals and Live Music Stages, 61 Touch Sensitive Keys, in Black

I found this to be a beautiful keyboard to learn music on. Once you start to play with both hands, melody(RH) & basic chords(LH), the sounds that come out of the speakers will stun you and make you go 'Wow!' I've almost finished 'Alfred's Book I for Piano Beginners' on this keyboard and I'm so pleased I chose the PSR-S670. I only use about 10% of the full capability of this keyboard. In truth, I don't use all the accompaniment software that's there - I mainly use the basic keyboard, but there's an enormous range of backing tracks/styles/rhythms you can easily add with just the flick of a few buttons. Best of all are the countless number of 'voices' (musical instruments) you can choose from. I get a tune in my head, pick it out on the keyboard and then think 'I wonder what that sounds like on a guitar? It encourages me to play about on the keyboard and experiment and have fun - that can only be a good thing. I love this keyboard. I'm really glad I bought it.

As a past owner of a TYros 2 I was pleased to find this keyboard has the same features. Having had Korg, Roland and Ketron keyboards in the past I was amazed at the value for money of this keyboard. My only complaint is that the LED light in the USB button failed after a few days but not worth the hassle of returning the keyboard.

Purchased as a replacement for an older keyboard and the difference is amazing. Very pleased with purchase.

Great keyboard, everything you'd expect from its reviews. However mine was second hand and labelled as 'very good condition'. When it arrived there were a lot of chips along the back of the front panel, purely cosmetic but doesn't look nice. More worryingly there is a very large split/crack along the side and another crack further up where the plastic has been cracked and pushed inside the casing which worries me as it's clearly had a very hard impact on one end. However it works perfectly well but I'm slightly worried about what damage was done to the internals when this impact(s) occurred.Had I known this I would not have bought this keyboard. I feel a bit misled as to the condition of it but fingers crossed it will continue to work well into the future.
