Good investment
Quality is great! Being able to print any pic in the Polaroid style is AMAZING. If you have a Polaroid cam you know that you are limited when it comes to dim lighting etc, this makes it possible to get digital cam quality pics.

Amazing little thing to print memories but expensive
Amazing little thing to print memories but seems too expensive given that the main cost is film and it's mostly a plastic box with a battery, motor, buttons, and some rolling exposure mechanism. Feels cheap for $180. Photo quality is good for what it is intended for. The app is ok, but can use better features (I would love to see a reset on the editing sliders for example).

Great little gadget
Way better than the poloroid camera. I had way more control over how the images turned out, directions were easy and the app was so simple to use. Ended up using it for a mini project in my photography class. Love. I just wish it came in cuter more colors

Decent picture quality if you get the source photo right
Took me a few tries to get the source photo to the point that the result was as I wanted it. The picture quality is good, but contrast was way too high, darks too dark and bright parts too yellow/greenish. Got the adjustments over two more prints and have now an idea what I need to do to a photo I want to print.I find value for money to be okay given that a single print costs about $1 these days. For me, it's worth it, but others might think differently. It's certainly MUCH better value for money than any of the Instax cams that print any shot without the option of cropping or checking colors beforehand. I would NEVER use one of these, got this one because my old Instax SP2 was damaged by old Instax film. See note below.Overall, I like the size of the printer, it's smaller than the older ones, I don't like that I can't print directly from the Fuji cameras anymore, I do like that image quality overall for what it is and just in general it's a fun device.NOTE: Do NOT use old (expired for a longer time, e.g. three years in my case) film. The "paper" broke when printing and the chemicals/ink smeared the inside of the mechanism so that any subsequent print was smeared. I took the printer apart to clean and let me tell you: they are made to throw away, not to repair. The layout, scew placement, different screw lenghts, convoluted mess is NOT repair friendly at all. If you thought an iPhone was hard to repair, don't ever open one of these. They are throw away items when damaged.
