This item is surprisingly sturdy considering it's predominantly plastic. The mounting clip is strong and easy to adjust as it's just a simple tightening fixture that secured the arm to whatever you fancy attaching it it. The clip itself it great as the spring within the clip itself is strong enough to confidently hold any device.For the money, I can complain at how good it is. It's ideal for late night kindle reading or having a phone holder when your hands are already occupied. 5 stars

Strong, rigid arm but unfortunately doesn’t hold the weight of my kindle when in position so it falls down gradually.

Does the job but hard to manoeuvre and mount is not as strong as it could be.It’s compatible with most phones and small devices.

Bought it because I’m severely disabled and often struggle to hold my iPad and kindle for long periods of time while I’m stuck in bed. It does wobble when the screen on the device is touched (this is mentioned in the item description so I knew before buying that this would be the case) but it most definitely has made my life much easier despite the wobbling. The gooseneck part is very stiff to begin with so it will take quite a bit of manipulating to get it to where you want it, but it is incredibly easy to set up over all. I struggle a lot with dexterity issues and I had no issues whilst opening the bit where the device is held, or tightening the attachment parts for the holder & the base that I’ve placed on my headboard (see picture 2).I love that it can be folded away so neatly and that it doesn’t take up a lot of space when storing it either. I’ve included a picture of the item in what I’m now calling “storage mode” next to an a5 notebook (picture 1) so that you can see how how nice and small gets when you go to put it away.Thrilled with this purchase, especially with it being such an affordable price too.

This product is awful when you connect the tablet to the spring Mount the arm keeps dropping down all the time if the constantly keep moving the arm into place also the clip at the bottom isn't spring operated it's just a sort of one that you have to kind of screw open and close that keeps coming open and it really isn't that good to be honest I spent more time trying to adjust it yesterday then I actually did being able to use my tablet efficiently in the first place also if you're like me and you have a cover on your tablet you have to remove the cover from the tablet to be able to use this arm because otherwise your tablet will drop out and fall on the floor it is really an awful product however got past manufacturing stage I don't know but don't buy it avoid it like the plague

Bought this for my wife so that she can read her kindle hands free in bed.very sturdy and well constructed.
