Curel Itch Defense Lotion 385 ml Lotion

I bought this for my ten week old baby who has been suffering from dry itchy skin on his face which has been keeping him awake at night and cradle cap. I had been advised by a pharmacist to use Sunflower oil on his scalp for the cradle cap which had helped to an extent but after a few hours the scales and dryness returned. I also tried cradle cap shampoo but it was very drying and made it worse. The texture of the cream initially feels thick and heavy but it absorbs very well and even when applying onto hair it wasn't left looking or feeling oily. It has worked an absolute treat and after applying it only once and my son's skin looks brand new. It has been 24 hours since I first applied it and no dryness, itchyness or scales have returned! I can't recommend it enough!

My son had terrible baby eczema over his forehead from about 4 months old, it looked terrible and he used to scratch at it during the night. By 6 months old and after trying every over the counter product available and a trip to the doctors with no improvement I decided to give this product a try after reading about it on a baby forum. I am not one that goes in for 'miracle creams' however that is exactly what this stuff is! My sons eczema was improved after a few days and completely gone in two weeks! I also used it on my own skin which I had currently been using a steroid cream on and had the same outcome. I recommended it to a work colleague who hadn't worn a short sleeved top for months because of her unsightly eczema and again the same amazing outcome! I now use it every now and then when my own or my sons skin looks dry just to keep it at bay - he is now nearly ten months old and hasn't had another outbreak since. It is a really light cream, not thick and greasy like some of the others, and absorbs quickly - it is amazing and I will certainly keep my cupboard well stocked with it. If you are an eczema sufferer this will be the best ten quid you have ever spent!

My 15 month old son suffers from eczema on his back primarily as well as a few other spots. This lotion seems to have brought down the redness of the eczema within a few days when we've not had much success with other treatments including steroid creams. Definitely worth a go if nothing else is working for you.

Effective longer than most lotions and creams.

Ordered this for my 10 month old son after reading positive reviews. It look a long time to arrive as it's shipped from the US and was fairly pricey in all. It has reduced his itching a little, he is scratching less - but it was no different really to Oilatum, E45 and the like products here. It has a bit of an unpleasant whiff to it too. Will I be buying it again? Perhaps if I could pick it up in my local supermarket or pharmacy, but not at the cost and time of it coming from abroad - no. In summary, it was okay, helped with his eczema a little.

My baby is 3 months old and had a huge and severe outbreak of eczema due to irritation of lanolin products. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this product. I ordered this after reading all the great reviews saying how it really helped people’s eczema. I applied it to my legs and hands which were dry from eczema and within a couple of hours my legs and hands were itching like crazy! It’s that horrible type of cream that rolls into little balls if you touch your skin. Bearing in mind this is marketed as an itch relief cream I really think Curel need to take another look at this product as my skin was pretty calm before I applied this rubbish and afterwards I tore my legs and hands to shreds and the only thing that would calm it was showering to get it off me! After showering my skin returned to normal and I went back to my trusted Cetraben.

Tolle Creme. Zieht schnell ein und hält was sie verspricht. Habe durch eine Nervenkrankheit Probleme mit juckender Haut. Durch eine Empfehlung bin ich auf diese Creme gestoßen, die in Deutschland nicht erhältlich ist. Sie ist parfumfrei und nicht zu fettig. Für den Sommer eventuell etwas zu reichhaltig. Für den Rest des Jahres aber super. Auch für Menschen mit Neurodermitis absolut zu empfehlen.

This is the one product that cures my itchy skin. I've had an itch problem on my lower shins and this product put an end to it.
