Read Write Inc. Phonics: Black and White Orange Set 4 Storybooks Mixed Pack of 12

We buy these to support the books sent home from school and give our twins more variety which stops them becoming bored. It has definitely worked for us. These books support the teaching at school. I am very happy with the books and RWI as a whole.

Got these to follow up from the pink set I got in lockdown 1. School kept her on pink but she is bossing this set. She had a zoom phonics screen and they moved her up a set. Typical! Great books to support school learning. Love the phonics support.

Only worth it to prepare your child for school wich uses RWI. With a proper writing book and flashcards. Stories are not enjoyable at all, my children do not like rereading them and they are black and white. You can get coloured ones, BUT they are overpriced for like 5 pages of text. You need to cojole quite a bit for the cild to reread it, but at the end is a perfect boring tool to make your child fluent in reading with no tutors.

Good books for children

An early reader enjoyed the books.

Great for helping your children, Grandchildren etc to catch up or get ahead with the school curriculum books. Inexpensive but invaluable to build confidence in reading. Their website has some great hints and tips to make sure the learning is aided correctly too.

Perfect little books for a small phonics group I teach. Each book comes with a few activities that I photocopy and use 1:1 and as a class. You can also highlight and use the questions as a group comprehension for those that are more able.
