GREAT PRODUCT
Looking for a circular saw to mount on a piece of ply that would fit on my work bench to turn it in to a table saw and this one really fits the bill, cheap compact light as far as a circular saw go, with very limited space at home I needed something that just folds away for storage but easy to set up and this little beast has all I need, comes with small fence guide for normal use and blade ready installed, ideal for light to medium DIY projects around the home I'm very pleased with my new toy, cheap as chips to buy but quality is very good, so glad I bought this little gem.

Good saw.
Used this today for a specific job I'd bought it for; to hang a couple of doors. Plenty of power, and the parallel guide easy to set up and positive. Good clean cuts, minimal planing required to achieve a finish. Absolute bargain for just over 30 quid including delivery, will last for a good while as build quality seems better than you'd expect for the price. Paid for itself already, very pleased.

A GOOD BUY BUT NOT QUITE PERFECT
First ever circular saw and I only wish I had bought one years ago! This model is more than sufficiently powerful for my needs and is very easy to use. It has a nice feel to it in use and would appear to be solidly built. I would have given this 5 stars but for the fact that the scale for determining the blade angle does not seem to be very accurate. I had hoped to make a normal, square cut through a 40mm thick piece of wood but there was a noticeable angle to the cut surface. I made an adjustment which corrected this but the mark on the scale was not at the zero position where it should have been. I would suggest to anyone buying this saw to make some test cuts first and check the angles.Overall, for the money, I think this was a good buy. Only time will tell if it has staying power. Would recommend.

Absolute brilliant piece of kit
Absolute brilliant piece of kit easy to use and easy to adjust. Used this item as I have bad shoulders and was changing all my interior doors so 8 in total done the first three by hand and obviously shoulders would kill me for days after brought this item gotta admit a little scared as electric saws but so easy to use took me couple hours to do cutting off doors by a manual saw as had to keep resting shoulder. This product took me Mins to cut the doors to size brilliant and I actually done a cut at 2mm took a bit of setting up using a straight bit off wood as a guide but brilliant!!

Update on review
The product was quite cheap, but arrived without an essential tool, the spindle lock wrench. I have noted that other reviewers have had the same issue. I contacted the supplier who said that this tool had been replaced by a new part on later models, but I was provided with the older model that still required the wrench, but the supplier has stopped replying to my emails asking them to forward me the necessary part. I managed to fix the blade using larger pliers, but this is unsatisfactory, and probably unsafe. For this reason, I cannot give a higher rating than one star, but more to do with the poor customer service than the actual product itself.UPDATE: Customer service has now been back in touch and have sent a replacement saw - many thanks to Robert, the Customer Feedback Coordinator at DOMU Brands for sorting everything out. Product is very good value, and now customer service has come into its own too, so happy customer here.

Missing essential part
The instructions show that a 'spindle lock wrench' should be including for putting the product together - it was not included in my package and does not seem to have been for many other people judging by reviews. It is needed to take off the mechanism and fit a blade. This Amazon page claims that the spindle lock wrench is not required - but no instructions are given on how to actually fit the blade without one.

Fair only
It works ok for the few times I will use it but the trigger button is too close to guard making it uncomfortable to use. Cheap enough though.

Lacks precision
When I first purchase this I gave it 4 stars, but in the 18 months since then I've noticed several niggles, and can only really give it 3 stars now.As others have pointed out, the tilt mechanism (for cutting at an angle) isn't properly aligned. I'd noticed a very slight angle on my cuts and assumed it was the way I was holding the saw ... until I took a try square to the saw and discovered that 0 degrees actually cuts at around 5 degrees. Easy enough to correct, but doesn't reassure me much about the build quality.Yesterday I came to use the saw again (as a DIYer it was perhaps 6 months since I'd last used it), and found that it wasn't following my straight-edge guide properly. It turned out the base plate wasn't aligned correctly: with the side of the base plate aligned with my guide, the disc was pointing away slightly from the guide. I'm not sure how this has happened; just cheap build quality I'd guess. As the base plate can't be adjusted in this plane, this saw is now useless for anything other than rough cuts. Still, only cost 25 quid when I bought it, so can't complain too much.
