Can it record two different HD channels at the same time

Yes it can, I've successfully done normal Dual TV & HD/ Normal TV in the past, just tried 2 HD channels now.Win 7 MCE software with the USB TV Tuner.

What do i need just a tv and and aerial and will it work in ireland????

you need a pc/laptop with 1x usb2 socket and a aerial to use this product and as far as i know yes i should work in Ireland.

Question, if nvidia shield tv pro is setup with a plex server, can i watch live tv on a plex client, if i have a plex pass?

Technically yes. Don't do it though. Tried using my hauppauge dual hd on Plex at first (server on a very powerful pc) and found the experience underwhelming (slow channel loading, unreliable playback etc..)...now use nextpvr with Kodi frontend and am happy (almost 2 years). Plex are not interested in PVR services and are moving in a different direction. Still use it for my media library but not TV

Does it work with Windows Media Center?

YES No problems at all in setting it up - I loaded the drivers and WinTV V8 software (upgraded my HTPC from Windows 7 to 8.1 with WMC and also upgraded from WInTV V7 - all this done when I got the new Dual HD dongle) - then I opened WMC (Windows Media Center) and it found them straight away and tuned in all the stations. I have recorded 4 programs at once and these have not skipped a beat since setup.I have a 2x Hauppaugge dual tuners (4 year old Nova TD and a new WinTV Dual HD) both working on the same computer with WMC as it works with up to 4x tuners. In our case, due to being in a poor reception area, I had to get a inline amplified splitter to boost the signal to prevent the occasional pixelation and/or the brief loss of signal (anything from a couple of seconds up to about 1 minute) that I got from using a standard 4 way splitter.The Hauppaugge software will also do 4x tuners so I have read, but never tried it, as I prefer the way WMC works and I have a original WMC remote which has more functions than the Hauppaugge remote.There are other programs (eg- DVB Viewer) which will do more tuners if you wish, but WMC has some good features and it just works. Pity they removed it completely with windows 10, I have seen attempts at installing WMC onto 10, but it loses a pile of functions (eg- will not record) or just does not work properly. So you will have to stay with a older version of windows to get full use out of WMC.If you experience any problems with hardware or software, Hauppaugge has a excellent customer service department, and will respond fairly quickly and try to help.Also, try not to lose the serial number for the CD that accompanies the tuner in case you end up having to upgrade to Windows 10.
