Minor blemish but suits my needs
The product contains a protective film as shown in the product description. That film was scratched as shown in my picture. Peeling the film revealed no scratches on the mirror. However, the film didn't reach all the way to the edge. So a small area along that edge was unprotected. I didn't notice any issues there, but I didn't look closely because the mirror will suit my needs even if there are issues there. One additional point, illustrated by my second picture is that the reflective material is missing from a small portion of the mirror. These two issues are the only reason I am not giving the product 5 stars.

Works as small projector mirror
I have it angled so that the projector sitting on my desk is now viewable on the ceiling. Clear image. Bounces off with no ghosting.Seriously get this if you need a cheap solution for this task.

Arrived broken
Bubble wrap + cardboard inside of a box with packing peanuts, enough wiggle that the corner was cracked upon arrival.Enough of it was unbroken for my intended purpose, but buyer beware.Otherwise, is first surface as advertised and free of scratches/defects. 5/5 if unbroken.

Not for professional kaleidoscope makers.
Ive been making kaleidoscope mirrors for a while. These are not good. The mirror itself was not square. The mirror surface oxidized during assembly. The corners were chipped and the little "blemish" is from the mirroring process where the machine grips the glass. These are poor cut-offs from b-grade quality mirror. Not for professionals.

Works like a charm to project video onto ceiling
The advantage to a first surface mirror like this over a regular mirror is you won't get any ghosting because of light refraction. I have this mirror propped up in front of our video projector so we can watch TV and videos on our ceiling above our bed. Not all projectors can be mounted vertically for on-ceiling projection, so this gives us so much flexibility. The projected image looks skewed in my photo, but that's because I used and ultra wide-angle lens to capture everything in the single frame. Manual keystone adjustments are minimal if you get the mirror angle just right.

Not so sure about front surface mirror.
There is a gap when you put a fingernail against the mirror. I would return but since the mirror is very thin the small gap is not going to affect my project.
