Being my first desoldering station I do not have anything to compare with but I found the instructions easy to follow. The front buttons are responsive and controls easy to use. The soldering Iron and gun rack is a solid piece of metal and is unlikely to tip over in use.The desoldering gun is a nice size easy to use and solid for a plastic item. It is quiet with the vacuum motor clicking on every 10 seconds or so, Nothing that would disturb you. The display is large and bright, easy to read. The Iron comes supplied with 1 domed tip, no idea how hard a replacement would be to find or if other types fit. It is easy to work with. Bothe the vacuum pipe and electrical wires to the gun and Iron are silicon coated. The desoldering gun has a selection of tips for different sized holes and the desoldering action was good pulling the solder from holes easily although its a learned feeling to know when the solder has melted and thus press the vacuum trigger.I'm very happy with my purchase and it seems sturdy enough to last me many years.

Sweet and simple
I found this unit to be easy to set up and easy to use. The temperature range is decent, the tips get up to temperature quickly.I've not had it long, nor have I used it much, so time will tell with regards to its longevity.

Faulty in less that 7 months!
We purchased 2 of these in March of this year, both within the past few days stopped working (one failed PAT testing and the other went up in smoke). We are very disappointed that we have had these for less than 7 months and they are both unsafe to use.

Pretty good all round
Decent product, works OK..... But I have gone back to my old iron and my soldering braids. Nothing wrong with this station though, recommended from me.

Plenty good enough for me. Bought this as I got distracted and melted the screen on my other one lol.

Fantastic
Excellent desoldering station for the price. Comes with multiple nozzle sizes. Has transformed desoldering from a chore into a pleasure. Can't recommend highly enough.
