Makita DMR108 Site Radio with Bluetooth and Mobile USB Charging Sock - Blue (4-Piece)

My second purchase of this item, bought a second one for my father in law.This radio has replaced my old Makita DAB radio which was absolutely rubbish. It basically didnt work indoors and only worked outdoors when the radio had nothing within 20ft of it.I got rid of that one and bought this as its FM and Bluetooth. The FM works well indoors and outside even though the aerial is pretty small.The sound from this radio is great for its size and it will run for days on an LXT 4.0ah battery.The bluetooth is easy to pair and allows you to play music from your mobile or stream it from tunein etc. The built in USB port allows you to charge the phone at the same time. All around winner.Don’t buy the DAB one, get this one instead.

I did a lot of research on this to try and get my partner the best model at the best price for a Christmas present from me. I found this one was the best. It was also very unfortunate that it was Black Friday yesterday and he had bought his own In the sales! I had only bought this two days prior to Black Friday! I was so upset and the radio hadn’t even been delivered yet! I contacted the seller and found them very professional and gave me instructions on how to return the radio once it had arrived.. later on Black Friday it had arrived! It was a bitter sweet moment! But I unwrapped the radio anyway to see what I had bought. It was wrapped well and had everything inside that it stated in the description. I decided to offer my partner to give me half the payment for it and for us to keep it for home use and he agreed.. it is quite loud which is good we also use it to charge iPads and listen to music via them it’s definitely worth the money. I like the sound this unit produces, some have said it is to base, but there is an option to turn off the loudness if you want to. Its nice and chunky and seems well built. Im using it a lot to play digital radio via bluetooth, which works well. The radio sensitivity is also better than most FM radio I have used.

My fella loves it best Christmas giftIt's loud ladies get ear protection the blue tooth is ace and seen as my fiance had none blue tooth one in the past he's over the moon with blue tooth upgrade.Easy to use. Set up. Powerful. And blue. Great bass boost and he loved beats and says it's better quality.As long as he's happy im happy. 10 stars.

Great site or industrial use radio, great sound, easy to use, my only negative with all Makita radios is you can't adjust the Bass or Treble sometimes you just want a little less bass at work as this is the most likely to be what gets you good to turn it down

This is great i chose Bluetooth over dab because dab can be interfered with by other electricals and I just downloaded a dab radio on my phone and now I have the best of both worlds, the sound this cannot be beaten.! When I'm not doing work on the house I leave this in the conservatory for a radio and in the summer it will be outside for bbqs so it will be used all the time definatly worth the money

I had the radio less than two months and one of the workers tripped over cable between the radio and the socket and that’s it power fail , won’t work by plug or battery . Reception wasn’t great on it either always fuzzy , the plug is awkward fits badly to the radio. And the plug if you plug it into a lead you can’t plug anything across from it . Why it won’t accept a battery because someone tripped over the lead is really annoying . Makita Service/ repair in Dublin won’t take calls or return messages at all . So basically a waste of money after not wanting to pay this much for a radio. But thought it would be as good quality as the rest of my makita gear , I was really disappointed

Just brilliant! Sturdy, waterproof and nice feel to it, has Bluetooth so you can stream your own music through it - most importantly excellent sound quality. Just be aware batteries do have to be purchased separately. Would definitely buy this radio again.
