BRAUN Knife Insert/Blade for MR400/MR500 - HC

Absolutely delighted that I could replace these parts. No worries at all. Works like new.

As expected.

Sturdy - if anything, looks a bit more resilient than the broken one it replaced. We've been using our Braun Vario for some years and been delighted with the versatility of the beater, chopper etc. Unfortunately, I asked far too much of the 'original' in trying to chop & mix a too solid/dry mixture and the top plastic section broke in half with the excessive strain. I haven't had to use this replacement blade yet but it looks perfect so I'm sure it will give great service for the foreseeable future.

Managed to break the plastic part of this blade and had to replace it. There is no choice if you have the Braun machine - you have to use their spares. On the whole I like the Braun but I think that this part breaks too easily - this was my third. On the other hand it was hard worked as my husband was ill and had to have all foods blended and it wasn't worth using a big processor for such small amounts. As usual it arrived when expected.

I bought this product because I have had a BRAUN MR400 series handblender for 10 to 15 years. Years ago the insert blade got inadvertently broken by an over-enthusiastic teenage son who tried to crush ice with it. So maybe not to be recommended for icecubes! I normally use my BRAUN blender for making soups etc but recently I thought it was high time that I replaced the insert blade, just to make the whole set complete again. After quite a bit of research I found it was still available here on Amazon. I have had the blade for a few weeks now and have sofar successfully chopped nuts and herbs with it. Don't think I'll attempt icecubes though. Also a note of warning: be carefull when removing the blade from the bowl after use...it is very, very sharp!!!!!

as I said in a previous email I asked the vendor if this blade would fit my Braun vario hand mixer and was promised it would on opening the parcel I was hopeful but tried fitting the blade and found the bore at the base of the blade to small. I emailed the vendor and said it wasn't worth me sending it back as the blade was cheaper than the post cost so had to bit the bullet and put it down to experience, we can only learn by our mistakes

I didn’t think I would be able to get a replacement blade for my Braun multi purpose stick blender set, as it’s so old! My existing blade still worked, but the plastic shaft had cracked, and it was only a matter of time before it would break and fall apart, and the split left it unhygienic. Very happy to report that this was a perfect fit, and restored the mini food processor to new condition.

Broke my existing blade at a busy time just before Christmas - found this replacement blade which was perfect fit, delivered quicker than expected and so I was able to make my breadcrumbs in time - disaster averted!

I've heard these come in two sizes and that you need to be careful to get the right one, but this one fit our Braun chopper that came as a hand blender accessory perfectly. The design around the base of the blade is actually better than the original.

Fortunately the blade and shaft fitted inside the jar perfectly and is functioning very well. However it would have been better if the dimensions had been mentioned along with the product description. The product is good and genuine but is priced a little high. Satisfied with the product
