HenryXtra Bagged Cylinder Vacuum, 9 Litre, 620 Watt, Red

Many moons ago my wife and i had both done cleaning jobs and always used Henrys. They were always great but i kind of forgot how good they were. Fast forward a few years we've had dyson and numerous other brands that have been ok, but not great in a carpet floor house with dogs. Battery ones run out of power on no time and the cord ones always got clogged.The Mrs saw Henry on sale so we decided to pick one up. Both of us now do the vacuuming with a smile on our faces. This is such a good little machine. It uses a cord so no need to worry about batteries ( there's also a nice wind up mechanism that takes seconds and works very well).It's powerful and has a few different heads. It sucks up dog hair and debris (destroyed tennis balls) easily and doesn't clog.It's small and low down so you can pull it round the house easily, even my elderly mother can use this easily.There's a bag so emptying doesn't create a dust cloud and can be swapped out easily or just empty the bag if you want.It doesn't use a huge amount of electric which is great for bills.It's bright red so o see it a mile away and don't trip over it.Excellent quality, highly recommended. Good value too. These vacuums last for years and are fraction of the price of the likes of Dyson and work better. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

Great hoover well worth the money super happy

Henry has been improved a lot since I bought my last one 20 years ago and that was really good anyway. There’s no hassle with a Henry; it picks up all sorts of stuff, goes into the large bag which you put in the bin when it’s full. I’ve tried Dyson and Shark and they’re just a hassle and soon lose power. You have to clean out the rollers, change the filters all the time, wash the containers and they just don’t work as well. This new version of Henry is light and has many useful accessories. The dedicated Airobrush attachment for carpets works like a normal vacuum cleaner with a roller and suction can be altered on the handle as you use it depending on how deep the pile is and it picks up pet hair well; this was included in my purchase but it isn’t always, so check. There is a floor tool for laminate floors and another for hard floors which you can use raised with a brush surround or totally flat. There are several other attachments for stairs, dusting, flute for narrow places and also they’re useful for the car. The head on the floor attachments turns easily to press up against the skirting boards so you get right to the edges. I love the way that you can get the pole right under beds, drawers and cupboards so easily. If you want a really hard wearing vacuum cleaner with a large bag so you don’t have to empty it so often you can’t go wrong with Henry. Mine came with two bags to start off. As it happens it uses the same bags as the one I already have. It has a large filter and I never had to replace it in the twenty years. The suction is very powerful and you can make the long handle shorter if you’re not very tall. What more can I say? It’s terrific.

At last a vacuum that works ,can whiz round the house in one go with the long cable without having to look for another socket ,and Henry’s happy little face following me around ,does the job with good suction and no spitting back (my last battery shark did this constantly),another plus my dog does not like it ,think it might be the face lol and I get left in peace to vacuum ,very happy with this vacuum and good value with all the attachments you get with it including 2 bags

Very good - suction power - cleans well - but the deice is heavier to move around than I thought.

very pleased with purchase. arrived super fast. very powerful machine. works extremely well. very long lead, it covers the whole of 3 bedroom bungalow without the need for extension lead, brilliant. such a good range of brushes and tools. cleans laminate, tiles and rugs to perfection in MHO. Not too noisey, does the job quickly and efficiently. I find it reasonable to pull along, but then I don't have stairs to worry about! price was very good. Wish I'd got one sooner.
