These are the best pastel surfaces available! I researched since I’ve been doing pastels, 6 years. These are expensive but the best. If you order the large sheets, you can cut to your needs.

I love this paper, it holds tons of layers and is the best for pastels and colored pencils, in my experience. I do wish I didn't cost so much but it definitely takes your art to another level. It feels much smoother than you expected to also. I'll attach my artwork in colored pencils with a pastel background.

Great pad for colored pencils but pricey.
4 star due to being pricey. Still trying to get used to the pad. The texture is sandy. Using it primarily for colored pencils only. You can apply several layers. The paper is thick.
