plastic thread too weak for "clay" might work for fondant, but I didn't buy it for that. plunger does not "plunge" should work like caulking gun. It doesn't. only "metal" is the rod, it's ALL plastic.

Very Easy to use. Wish the barrel was bigger but it works great very easy on your hands!

Purchased this extruder to replace one I had for several years and looked identical to this one. However this one is cheaply made, does not press easily, hard to take apart for cleaning. Even the disks are extremely thin and useless. Don’t waste your money!

GOT THIS FOR MY SON WHO IS IN TO MAKING CLAY SCULPTURES, AT FIRST IT WAS A LITTLE TRICKY TO USE, BUT THEN HE GOT THE HANG OF IT. IT WORKS WELL AND PRODUCT ARRIVED IN A TIMELY FASHION.

I love all of the different discs that come with it. My old extruder broke, so I needed another one just like it.
