These bandages are a little bit pricey, but my 98 year-old mother with very thin skin had a cut on her forearm and I purchased them and started applying the patch. It kept the wound from scarring I would purchase this again.

These patches worked on a pretty severe burn. They were great.

It soothed developing surgical blister and help make husbands comfortable.

As a nurse with wound care experience when my son burned his leg helping his grandpa with a motorcycle & then had a reaction to the first bandage we used, I was desperate to find something to help him and came across this. It had silver, which was on the top of my list, and was next day shipping for me which was second on my list. After just a few days we went from a wound that we were struggling to find something that worked to a wound that was almost healed with this product. Hoping we won’t have to use it again, but definitely saving it in my favorites as a just in case. Adding pictures of the before and after few days after to show just how much it improved. I know being young, healthy, & having a good diet helped tremendously but we had tried a few other products first and were getting nowhere other than a panicked little boy that was worried about his upcoming baseball tryouts and being able to swim on his family’s vacation.

I was looking for something with silver as active ingredient for a faster healing as my second degree burn was NOT fun to have around for a long time. I was a little skeptical at first as it was my first time using silver for wounds, but it really did its job better than normal dressing!!! I put a thin layer of burn cream on top of my open wound and put this dressing on top of it. When I took it off in the evening, it absorbed a lot of the nasty yellow discharge that was coming out from my wound but also kept the skin moist for faster healing. I really really recommend this if you have any open wounds that you want to be healed quickly and nicely. The absorbing of the disccharge is not as good as hydrocolloid bandages but i didn't want hydrocolloid bandage on my open wound as it would peel off the damaged skin when I take it off. This one does not stick to the wound so that was good! The adhesive part around it was also very nice for motility and for sensitive skin.

My husband has some slow healing ulcers on his leg due to a venus insufficiency. We were using hydrofera blue and some other silver ridden pads, but they kept sticking on the wounds, taking off a layer of skin, (even soaked in saline) curtailing the healing process and causing him loads of pain. We've been using these silver gel pads for a few weeks now and they've helped him heal quite a bit after surgery. We secure them with a layer of xeroform wrap and then we wrap it in gauze. This is the only recipe that has worked for us and I highly recommend these gel pads.
