Brilliant piece of kit!
Brilliant striker. Couldn't be happier or more impressed with this bit of kit. Bought for use during Forest School sessions with younger children and camp fire sessions with teenagers, as well as personal use at home. Takes the pressure and stress off students over having enough kindling or cotton wool burning too quickly before they get the fire established. Also perfect for damp conditions as it'll work every time regardless. It's great quality, robust and will last ages before needing a new cord. Would definitely recommend and I've even bought as a gift for other people since getting mine.

Fantastic Fire Stick
This is a genuine great product made to a high quality standard. It comes with a fire starting card instructions and a QR code to a video if you need help. It also comes with a good length of paracord, mini carabiner tool and a scraper for the ferrocerium rod. It comes with 2 x waxed twine that lights very easy once spread out a little. It does everything you need/want it to and feels like it should last a long time. It’s quite simple to keep the twine attached with a knot at one end and a loop around itself as per picture. I will certainly be buying from Forest Fundamentals again in the future, one very happy customer!

Strike it slowly
Brill product but you need to strike it slowly and fray the end of the rope

My go to tool!
This is my second ferro rod from forest fundamentals so thought I would try out this one. A really great and well thought out design, love it! the wick is great, it burns very slow and seems very resistant to wind. Definitely a worth while buy, I can see this lasting forever.
