Much bigger than expected but very good quality puzzle

This jigsaw is nice and chunky and big. Perfect for little hands to manipulate and figure out. My son loves looking at the different animals, tipping them out onto the floor and 'trying' to fit the pieces back in again. I heard he enjoys playing with the peg board jigsaws at his nursery so I thought this would be ideal for him. It is very robust, of a high quality and durable and I would highly recommend it. it will last for years and years. A very reassuring purchase.

My granddaughter who this was purchased for was only 13 months old when she received this give, took her only a few weeks to use. Has become a firm favourite toy. Excellent quality

This is a lovely puzzle with good sturdy handles for a 1 year old who is learning to play with them. However I did think it was damaged as between each puzzle piece there is a cut out line. I came to realise that obviously this is the way it is made and the cutter doesnt lift between each template if that makes sense. Unfortunately it takes away from the look but not overall quality.

This puzzle is great, it is larger than I expected with easy to hold pegs which are perfect for a one year old. Also love how it includes three farm animals that your child is likely to be familiar with encouraging your little one to practise their animal noises.

Bought for an active 10month old who tries to open drawers by pulling on the handles. The knobs on this puzzle are the same size and encourage him to move away from the drawers to look at colours and shapes.

Bought this Melissa and Doug puzzle for a friends granddaughters 1st birthday. Very happy with the sturdy well made product, as I have been with previous purchases of the same make. Good educational fun toys.

I bought this puzzle because I couldn't find any other type that had shapes with large handles, but I'm not very impressed with the quality, considering how much it cost. The shapes aren't cut out accurately enough, and are a very tight fit if put in any way round other than the original way- the pentagon doesn't even fit in 4 out of the 5 possible positions. Also the shapes are decorated by just having paper stuck to the wood, and so when the child inevitably puts it in their mouth and gets it wet, the paper starts to peel away. We'd only had it for a couple of hours before I noticed some of the shapes starting to fray at the edges. The puzzle has good potential- it's a good size, the large knobs are easy for babies to grab and there's a good variety of shapes, but the poor quality of the item really lets it down. Just a shame there aren't any similar alternatives available!
