For the price you pay this item is absolutely fine. I bought it more as a deterrent than an actual devise that'll stop my low value trailer being stolen.However if I am being picky then there are two issues that I should bring to your attention:1) it can be difficult to get it seated fully in the tow hitch of the trailer. It takes a bit of brute force, but once it's in it seems secure.2) the lock is a ratchet type and I am a little unconvinced that it'll stand up to any force. I suspect a crow bar would have it open quite quickly.My advice, great for cheap trailers to act as a deterrent But do not buy it if you have a high value item your hoping to protect e.g. a caravan.
