This tinted mineral sunscreen is a gem!
I picked this up based on a recommendation from DrDray on YouTube. I loved that she swatched all the colors and I thought Medium Deep would be the best one for me. That’s what I’m wearing in the photo. Black girl/brown girl approved! This is now one of my favorite sunscreens! I prefer tinted mineral formulas but sometimes it’s a challenge to find one with a shade that fits me and that is also water/sweat resistant (80 minutes), and also affordable. This one is perfect, it checks all the boxes! This doesn’t burn my eyes or cause blurry vision, doesn’t irritate my oily skin. My sister has dry sensitive skin and also likes this. This has a skin-like finish. Might be slightly shiny but that’s normal to me. I like to use a fan to help it dry down more. Consistency is very thin/kind of runny and spreads easily. Formula is comfortable and doesn’t feel drying. Reapplying is a breeze but have to be careful to not get it on clothes. I keep wipes in the car to wipe off my fingers. The coverage is very sheer, not like Colorscience Flex which has more coverage and a much higher price (but I also love). This doesn’t cover imperfections/dark marks but it does even out skin tone. Some of my foundation colors in case it helps you with choosing a shade: Armani 7.8, ELDW Honey Bronze, KVD 063, MUFE 3N42, Haus Labs 330, Dior 4N, Nars Aruba. I use Tan in Colorscience Flex. The only thing I would change about this product is the packaging because it can get a little messy. I wish the opening of the tube was smaller, more tapered. I’m still giving this 5 stars anyway. I’ve gotten this on my clothes (white shirts) but has not left any stains; I always treat with Oxi Clean Max Force stain remover on the same day. Washes out completely, no staining, no trace.I also picked up Deep just in case, but it’s too dark. My guess is that it’s best for people with skin tone MAC NC45 and up. However, DrDray mentioned this is a good option for those who like to use self tanner and want the face to match the fake tan. I wouldn’t use this on arms or legs because it will transfer to clothing or other fabric. Also, I realized the reason the Deep shade was priced much lower is because it expires in August 2024 and I bought it June 2024! I’m stuck with it because I don’t want to pay to return it.Either way, the colors are very sheer and natural looking; not too orange, pink or chalky. At least that’s my opinion. Makeup artists say I have an olive skin tone. This totally works for me!

decent skin tone match for me
after a horrible allergic reaction to a chemical sunscreen (also from Neutrogena), I made the switch to mineral sunscreens. As a darker-skinned Asian woman, it’s hard to find products that are yellow enough without being too orange. In winter, the medium deep of this product, on application, is an exact match to my skin, to the point I sometimes can’t see if I missed a spot to blend in. It does get just slightly darker with drying/oxidation, but not enough to be concerning. It’s decently moisturizing — I wear it only over a serum and eye cream. If anything, it’s slightly greasy on me. It is quite runny, which I like as far as being lightweight feeling on my face, but agree with others that it makes for a mess — I store my tube cap up and I still feel like a lot of product gets lost/wasted inside the cap. I like that it’s water resistant (although I probably wouldn’t wear it to the beach or pool bc SPF 30 is a bit low), but it’s definitely not rubproof; I’ve blown my nose and seen product on the tissue, but I’ve never really found a product that’s nose-blowing resistant. I would never apply a tinted product on my neck out of concern of getting it on my clothes, and this is no exception. I have other tinted mineral sunscreens with higher SPF, so I mostly will use this during the winter and when I only have to go outside for short periods. I’ve seen people say this is expensive, but the price on Amazon is reasonable, considering ulta is selling these at $27.99, which is more than twice the price of the most expensive shade on Amazon (~$10 on Amazon for medium deep right now, but also dislike that different shades of skin products are always different prices on Amazon — I always seem to be a pricier shade). As long as Neutrogena continues to make this, I’ll buy it, as it’s a cheaper alternative to my other tinted mineral sunscreens for days when I don’t need a higher SPF and can deal with feeling slightly dewy/greasy.

Doctor recommended
My dermatologist recommended this product, and I have been using it because of his recommendation. It's easy to apply and enhances the skin's appearance. Pleased with the results.

Better color range
I needed something lightweight but I have to mix this with a darker product. It’s pale. I’d like it if their was a better color range.

Different tints & light weight
This was recommend to me by my dermatologist. It's light weight and light tint, which I love. It comes in different tints as well.

Not for sensitive skin
This made my face inflamed. I wouldn’t recommend buying this product if you have sensitive skin like myself.

A perfect match, but a little oily.
I have olive skin tone and I am sensitive to BENZONE, gave me itch and rashes. I like this sunblock because it doesn’t have BENZONE IN IT. USUALLY LISTED UNDER ACTIVE INGREDIENT. I bought all 3 shades and finally got a perfect match, Medium deep. I always wear sunblock everyday, with or without foundation. With this tinted sunblock, I don’t always have to wear a foundation, just a little concealer to cover my scares. Loving it so far and it’s half the more expensive brand name I bought in the past. Will update later.
