DremelDSM840 Cutting Guide, Circular Saw Attachment for Mitre, Bevel and Straight Cuts

I originally purchased the DSM20 in a carry-case with a selection of cutting disks, and thought the mitre guide would be a useful accessory. However, and despite Dremel's assertion they are "big on detail", what I didn't realise was that the selection of cutting disks included with the kit didn't contain the right cutter to use with this mitre attachment.Now there's nothing wrong (as far as I can tell at the time of writing this review) with any of the products - it just isn't made abundantly clear anywhere that this mitre guide HAS to be used with the flush-cutting disk. There are no instructions with the mitre guide, only a few "staged" pictures on the card packaging, and no mention is made on the correct cutting wheel to use with it.So, if you're tempted to buy this product, make sure you have the multi-purpose flush-cutting wheel to start with, or you buy one when ordering the mitre guide.

Very good gadget. I am using with the Dremel DS20 saw and a flush cut blade for skirting board mitres. Depth is my issue, I am not able to cut completely through the board. I am using 18 mm board. With I had bought 15mm board. I have also damaged mine by holding the saw in the wrong hand and hoping the guide would guide. No it cut into the guide instead. Kicking myself for getting sloppy.

It didn't do what I thought it would do but it might useful for those more capable than me.
