Take as directed for the requisite time. There are many lactic acid products on the market and I have tried them all. Gynofit offered faster relief though than the others and the itching retreated almost immediately. This product is used as a course. Then it is a good idea to move onto Gynofit with mosituriser, also available. See web.

This gave me thrush in my endeavour to cure BV. It probably works for some, it just upset my seemingly fragile/useless personal Eco system.

Gynofit is a good product but, my experience is it takes longer to work then Balance Activ. I actually don't even know if it would have cured me because the itchiness and irritation were still present after a few weeks. I researched one of the main ingredients Glycerin., which is actually a sugar type substance that the bad bacteria in our hoo haas, love. So ladies, if you want a cure, buy Balance Activ.
