Innovative Visual Aim Point Accessory That Needs Better Mounting & Cable Management
I recently tested the LED dot accessory for shooter-games and mixed between PC monitor and console/TV setups, and I have a balanced view of both its promise and its drawbacks. What I like: The core concept is clever and executed reasonably well: an LED dot placed adjacent to your screen serves as a persistent visual reference point, which in fast-paced scenes helps orient my gaze and improve focus. The color and brightness controls are flexible, allowing customization depending on ambient light and game contrast levels. Setup was fairly straightforward — unpack, position the module, plug into USB or power source, adjust settings — and once positioned it remained usable. On darker levels or maps with busy visuals, I found it gave a subtle edge by making my aim or cross-hair focus feel more anchored, rather than floating in a cluttered scene. Compatibility is broad — I used it with PC (144Hz monitor) and a 55-inch TV on a console, and it functioned without software issues across both. Build quality in my unit felt solid — the LED housing was well-finished, the control module responsive, and there were enough mounting accessories to allow some flexibility in placement. For gamers who like accessory add-ons and are comfortable adjusting their setup, this unit checks many boxes. What didn’t work well: However — there are two key negatives that I believe significantly impact the user experience, especially for someone with a high-end or minimalist gaming setup. Wire visibility across the screen’s middle: One of the more frustrating aspects is that the data/power cable doesn’t tuck neatly along the edge or bezel as you might hope; instead it often crosses the screen’s middle region or is clearly visible in that zone, depending on your monitor or TV. This is distracting, especially in immersive gameplay moments when your eyes are scanning the central field of view. For someone with a clean multi-monitor rig or minimal bezel setup, seeing a cable draped in front of part of the screen is a design compromise. Mini suction cups are inconsistent: The mounting relies on small suction-cups to affix the unit near your screen. In my testing, I found them to be somewhat unreliable — on textured bezels, curved monitor backs, or even after several hours of game time the suckers would lose adhesion, shift, or require re-adjustment. This means you’re not quite set-and-forget; you may end up interrupting your session to re-stick or re-align the device. In a competitive or time-sensitive gaming scenario, that annoyance matters. Other smaller trade-offs: Because you have to dedicate a specific border region of the screen/bezel for placement, this accessory may not fit optimally with ultra-wide screens, curved displays, or setups where the monitor sits flush with the wall or has minimal border space. Further, dialing in brightness/contrast to integrate the dot into the scene — bright enough to be visible, but not so bright as to draw undue attention — took a few sessions of fine-tuning. Verdict: If you’re a shooter-gaming enthusiast, especially someone who enjoys accessories and wants incremental visual aids, this product is worth serious consideration. It delivers on its promise of giving a visual anchor, and when placed properly it yields meaningful utility. That said — it is not without compromises. The visible cable across the screen’s mid-region and the risky adhesion of the mounting suction cups degrade what could be a near-seamless experience. I’d recommend it for gamers who are comfortable doing a bit of setup, don’t mind visible cabling, and can tolerate periodic re-adjustment of the mount. If you have a premium, ultra-clean setup with minimal visual clutter and zero tolerance for wires crossing your main screen area, you may want to weigh whether the benefit justifies the mounting/cable trade-off. In short: solid concept, decent build, but mounting and cable management feel like the weakest links in the experience. For the price, it’s a good optional add-on — just don’t expect perfect integration without some effort.

Up your K/D Ratio with EASE!!
I love this Red Dot!! Call it what you want, some say it is cheating, it is an unfair advantage or just a tool to help your K/D ratio. I don't think it's any different than having RAMPED up headphones so you can hear people coming from behind or a specialized controller for customized first person shooter play. This is a great addition to your console setup. The wire blends in with the screen so don't worry about it getting in the way. This Red Dot is easy to setup and the cord/wire is long enough to get from any power source to the middle of your screen. I would recommend you purchase this if you want to up your K/D.

Annoyed by in game reticles (or the lack thereof)?
I have the previous non 'Pro' version as well, and now I'm torn... The older version allowed the light from the LED to light the outer ring of the suction cup... the new one doesn't, so it's just the dot. I prefer the 'ringed' look of the older one, but the smaller LED and suction cup of the newer one, plus the variable brightness and colors. This is all preference... Both of them do exactly what they're supposed to and do it well, so I have no complaints. As for what could be better... having the LED enclosure be slimmer to occlude less of the screen and any moving reticles/aimpoints behind it should be their next improvement. That would make headshots on tiny distant targets much easier in games that require it.

Won't stay!
This product would be great if it would stay suction to the TV! The LED light and settings work great, it don't have light circle "as shown" in picture product. The TV is clean and the LED suction cup won't stay! It's will stick for about 30 mins and then fall down, there is another suction cup for the cord to run neatly run down the TV which stays in place. Maybe if they made the suction cup little bigger for the LED light it would stick! (I think they need to send me another) I shouldn't have to figure away to rig the product to work for the price spent. Gamers play for hours therefore it should hold. [UPDATE] Don't buy this if your a PC gamer, instead download Steam, get the utilitie app called Crosshair which is free unless you want to upgrade. Unfortunately for console players you could use this if you buy 3D clear double sided tape and cut a small piece fold in half to stick this crap to your TV. 😁 (honest review)
